We think you're going to find plenty of reasons to use this Calphalon 4-qt. Nonstick Unison Soup Pot once you bring it home and try it out. It features a timeless design with a matte black finish that looks great while it's simmering on the stovetop, and it features a heavy-gauge bottom that allows for even conduction and cooking. The interior of the bottom is sloped so that it's easy to stir your culinary creations, and the pan's narrow top and high sides combine to minimize the evaporation that can take place as you cook soups or stocks for long periods of time. An included lid further helps prevent the release of moisture. It even has a nonstick interior, ensuring your finished foods will slide out effortlessly without caking on, whether you're making chicken soup or slow-cooking a delicious stew. The double-riveted side handles are designed for durability, and they stay cool on the stovetop, making it easier for you to move this pan around when you need to. The 4-quart capacity is just right for larger batches of your favorite comfort foods, whether you're cooking as a treat for yourself or feeding the family. To keep the nonstick surface in peak condition, use wooden or nylon utensils with this pan.

Best Used For:

This pan is perfect for whipping up a batch of your favorite homemade soup any time you're craving the comfort of warm, delicious home cooking.

  • Calphalon Online Ships Poor Quality Stock Pot

Pot was delivered quickly but has a bubble in the bottom (inside of pot)which will likely lead to flaking of material into food and further erosion of pot surface. Poor quality check by company. Very disappointed. Now they want me to pay for postage back! Never will use this service again.

  • Pot lid and sliding problem

The lid got very hot. And I found the pot tended to slide very easily on the burner. I think it might be too smooth on the bottom. Cooked very well. And has a nice look.

  • Awesome cookware!!

I recently replaced my very expensive French pots & pans with Calphalon...............what an improvement! The pricey set always had food stick to it, you could not cook eggs in it at all. I love the Unison series of Calphalon, and as a plus, it is made in the USA. The clear lids are helpful, the product cleans easily, it doesn't weigh too much. I am very satisfied.

    I recommend this product.

  • Unison

Love your Unison products! Great cookware! I am purchasing a piece at a time, however I wish we could recycle old cookware a piece at a time as well, instead of only qualifying to recycle after purchasing an entire Unison set. I am giving old cookware to Goodwill, but I think it should be recycled instead of allowing it to be reused.

    I recommend this product.

  • The size is perfect the only issue is that the bottom of the pot is slippery on my gas range. It slides around on the burner. You really have to make sure you hang on to it if you are going to stir something.

  • Soup Pot

Love it! Every other soup pot we tried was terrible. Ingredients would stick and then had to soak for 2-3 days to get them cleaned enough to use again. Once we figured out the right amount of heat, (lower than we used before), our soups don't stick or burn anymore.

    I recommend this product.

  • We Cook For a Multitude, Almost

Our family is large, seven children plus spouses. Twenty grandchildren, though some two wee ones still eat soft or mashed food! The others often voraciously gobble pots of chili, mashed potatoes, summer's harvest stews, and even fruit soups... They come for weekends regularly---for Seasons' Holidays, for some Thanksgivings, for some other occasions, but ALL come for our summer's hOOTENkAMPY, our summer Grampa & Grandma camp for THE TWENTY. In the summer, the chili would then be used as a topping for what we call Haystacks---corn chips, salad toppings, and more. So do we NEED a Calphalon soup pot? To quote kAMPY DIRECTOR Grampa, "You betcha!"

    I recommend this product.

I am always looking for cookware that is good for cooking for two, but versatile enough for larger amounts.....this soup pot is perfect! I use it all the time for just about everything (vegetables, soups, pasta), and so I just leave it on my stovetop! It looks great!

    I recommend this product.

  • Calphalon Unison 4Qt. Covered Pot

I am a very satisfied customer of Calphalon products. Sometime ago I purchased a set of Calphalon -- before introduction of their Unison line. After cooking with Unison I find it absolutely necessary to add to my cookware. All Unison, of course. Once you use it, you'll be hooked!

  • Perfect Size Soup Pot

I bought this to replace a pot of the same size but different brand that was literally worn out. This soup pot is so much better. The handles on the side make it very easy to drain liquids or vegetables without getting burnt. Clean up is a breeze also. Just a wonderful pot all the way around. I am very pleased with my purchase.
