The original Waring Pro glass jar assembly broke, so I needed a new one. Strangely enough, I noticed that the new one is working much better than the old one and quieter. I guess my original jar blade was defective and i did not even know it. The price is ridiculus (more than half of the whole blender), but I feel like I have a good new blender now.

I love my Waring blender and use it practically everyday for smoothies; it is powerful and only has two speeds- the best blender I have ever own. It is great to have a spare blender jar.

Nice to have this option to replace the jar, and not the whole blender. Great blender, daily use to make smoothies with frozen fruit or ice cubes.

This worked perfectly for about a week. Then the nut that holds the blade in place sheared off. My old one lasted me for years with heavy use. It would be fine today if I had not dropped it one too many times (it finally smashed on the tile.) Good thing I saved it to salvage for parts.

I broke the jar to our blender and needed a replacement before my wife killed me. Cooking.com had it for about $10 cheaper than the Waring website. Excellent product and shopping experience
