Never going back to drip coffee again!
We've had this machine for 2 weeks and make 8-10 cups of espresso daily.
DELICIOUS ESPRESSO WITH ONE BUTTON: This machine is amazing and simple to use. Beans go in the top, water in the front, and one button push later, delicious espresso comes out, as if by magic. You can adjust water temp, amount of ground coffee per shot and the grind of the coffee. It took about 10 tries to get the best results for our coffee and taste preferences. There are 2 presets, one for espresso and one for an Americano (espresso with more water) which is very close to a regular cup of drip. Make sure to use good quality beans and fresh water for best results. The milk frother works well, or we often nuke the milk in a coffee mug and make the espresso directly into the cup. The spout can be adjusted up and down and can accommodate our large coffee mugs.
COMPACT SIZE: We have a small kitchen and this compact machine fits perfectly. The beans hopper and water container are easily accessible. Some other machines have the water container on the back, which wouldn't have worked for us.
EASY MAINTENANCE:
Clean out the drip tray, empty the grounds and clean the milk frother daily.
Rinse the brew group and let dry overnight weekly.
This is much easier and less messy than with my old drip coffee maker.
The milk frother works well. It has to be taken apart and cleaned each day to remove any milk residue. Compared to the other maintenance this is the most difficult. The panarello wand is on tight and you have to pull on it pretty hard to get it apart. I'm always afraid that the entire frother will come out, but it hasn't happened yet, and I've not read about it happening.
IMPRESSIVE LOOKS: This is a good-looking appliance! It's clad in metal and feels well made.
