I did think it was a little expensive, however, after trying it I am thrill with it. I used it on boneless, skinless chicken breasts. I pierced it (but only half way though the chicken) twice on each side (different areas to cover the entire area). Then marinated them for an hour. It was so moist and tender. So much more than when I pierce it with a fork and marinate it. So pleased with this purchase. Well worth the money. Sturdy and well made. Very sharp so keep it in the case when not in use.

It really does the job, but you have to be careful. The blades are extremely sharp, and can bend if you don't pay attention.
