Each tenderizer comes with a removable cartridge that lets you easily pull the blades out to quickly remove material that gets stuck during use.   • best tenderizer I've ever had

    Works wonderfully. I did have to re-read the directions for taking it apart the first two times I used the tenderizer. You must be careful not to go all the way through the meat..... those sharp pointed blades can bend slightly, causing the tips to catch on dish towel.

    Make certain to only go half way through the thickness on each side; and then add your seasonings... let the steak sit or marinate for a short time.

  • Good but be careful

    The first time I used this product it "over tenderized" the steak and the meat ended up more "mushy" than tender. If used in moderation this tenderizer helps get marinade displaced throughout the meat better and does help make a relatively chewy piece of meat less so.

  • We thought it was a little pricey at first. But after using it and tasting the results...It is WELL worth it. It made our ribeye steaks SO tender..I have bought one for my daughter and her husband..There are so many meats that using the tenderizer can improve the tenderness of. Cant wait to try it on more....thanks....

  • London Broil

    I seasoned a London Broil wth salt, pepper. smoked paprika and garlic powder then used the Jaccard meat tenderizer on both sides of the London Broil.
    I waited about 15 minutes, wrapped the meat in aluminum foil and baked it in the oven. It was tender and well seasoned. .

  • Upset about bent blades

    Used it 3 or 4 times now, and just noticed that some of the blade tips are bent. I've been very careful to use it against wood, or 3 or 4 paper plates, so it seems to me the blades must be pretty fragile. Since they aren't individually removable, now I have to figure out a way to straighten and/or resharpen them. Expected a lot better quality than this.

    I also bought one for my son. Both of us love flavor. It's easy to use, easy to clean and is as safe as using a sharp knife. It is engineered and built so well I'll never need to buy a replacement. It increases the absorption of marinades and brines especially for chicken breast, turkey and today's pork. It tenderizes less expensive beef and lamb cuts much better than a pounder because there is no tearing. Great product that I'll give as a gift to friends who actually cook, grill and barbeque.

    I can not tell you how much I like this item. It is easy to use easy to clean and does a fantastic job on all types of meat. it is used on beef. chicken ,pork. and I am trying to figure out if it can be used on eggs!! lol I tenderize the meat and it goes into a marinade and the flavors go through out the meat.
