The Jaccard 48-Blade Meat Tenderizer makes short work of preparing even the toughest cuts of meat for cooking. Use the 48 blades to quickly and effectively slice through your favorite meats and allow marinades to enhance the flavor or dissolve tough areas. The column-style design allows you to deliver ample force for exceptional penetration. Each tenderizer comes with a removable cartridge that lets you easily pull the blades out to quickly remove material that gets stuck during use. Stainless steel construction ensures that the blades and cartridge will last, giving you years of effective tenderization. Easily sanitize the cartridge and blades by sending them through the dishwasher along with your other cooking tools. Best Used For: Use this tenderizer to prepare your favorite meats for lunch or dinner. Juicy steaks are easy to tenderize, and you can add your own selection of marinades to provide just the right flavor to beef, chicken or pork dishes. The tool makes it easy to prepare meats that are ready to place directly on the grill; just add salt or your favorite seasonings and rub them into the openings created by the tenderizer. It's also a great choice for pan-fry preparation; create your own chicken-fried steaks by dredging tenderized meat through flour and spices before frying. Features:
  • 48 blades for quick tenderization
  • Long-lasting stainless steel construction
  • Removable cartridge for easy access
  • Top-rack dishwasher safe for simple cleanup
  • Cleaning & Care: Dishwasher-safe
  • Origin: China
  • Size/Capacity: 48 Blades
  • Special Features: Reduces cooking time
  • Warranty: 2-year limited warranty

  • Better than those old mallets

This meat tenderizer is in a class by itself. It manages to tenderize a million times better than anything else I've tried without turning the meat into mush. I would definitely recommend spending the little bit of extra money to get the 48 blade over the 16 blade - it wil make your work much easier. I would recommend this meat tenderizer to everyone.

    I recommend this product.

  • I DO THINK THAT IT IS A LITTLE PRICEY I WOULD NOT PART WITH IT . I WOULD LIKE TO GET ANOTHER ONE FOR A FRIEND, BUT LIKE I SAID [ CAN'T REALLY AFFORD IT ] IT REALLY WORKS , GREAT ON NEW YORK STRIP STEAKS, OR LESS TENDER CUTS OF MEAT. PUT THEM ON SALE AND I WILL BUY ANOTHER ONE THANK YOU HAROLD

    I recommend this product.

  • I love the Jaccard Meat Tenderizer

Ok, I admit it, I was a skeptic. I didn't believe this tenderizer could take a tough piece of meat and transform it into a tender, delicious piece of meat I would enjoy eating -- but it DID.

It couldn't be easier to use, just remove the cover and punch it through the meat. I found the more holes you make the more tender the meat is. After a few pieces of meat, you'll get the hang of it and how much you need to "Jaccard" it to get it just the way you like it.

It's easy to clean too, I put mine on the top shelf of my dishwasher. The cover comes in handy for storage and for safety.

The blades are SHARP and this is NOT a toy. This is a serious, albiet fun to use food prep tool. You'll want to keep it well out of children's reach.

I know there are other sizes out there but this one works best for me because the larger size means it's fast to use.

It helps with marinades too because the juices can actually get into the meat. YUM!

Although this item seems pricey, I expect it will last a lifetime. When I look at it that way it's not expensive at all. Also, there's a big cost savings because I can use cheaper cuts of meat that I might not otherwise buy.

I highly recommend this Jaccard Meat Tenderizer! Go with the 48 blade, you will be glad you did! Now, please excuse me, I need to go fire up the BBQ... :)

    I recommend this product.

  • Great for marinating any kind of meat headed for the barbeque. Obviously, can also be used in the kitchen when the temps are -18 C as they are now.

  • crazy about meat tenderizer

I bought two. One for me and one for mother-in-law. I've used mine four times, different kinds of meat, and was surprised that it worked even better than I expected. I've been married, and cooking, for 44 years, and think this meat tenderizer is awesome! It's deer season here in southeast Texas, so I'll find out how durable this is.

  • Jaccard Meat tenderizer

I bought the meat tenderizer's for gifts. I get so-o-o many compliments on meat
dishes that I prepare for others. They comment on the tenderness of the meats.(often its chicken) . I' ve had others tell me that , for older parents , it makes
a big difference in their abilities to eat meats. I have been thankful for what a
wonderful kitchen helper .. it has become for me in food prep. Thanks again .

  • Meat Tenterizer

This meat tenderizer is everything that they said it would be and more. I did not realize this when I made my purchase, but you can actually replace the blades if they ever wear out. It works like a charm, especially for marinading larger cuts of meat. I used it on a beef tri-tip and then marinaded it in a zesty italian dressing marinade for several hours. It came up great!

Excellent at tenderizing meat, yet a little difficult to clean. I find this to be easier to use and not require the strength of a mallot type tenderizer. I will be using this several times a month.
