What a great knife

I've seen Guy on TV ever since his win on the next star show. Of course he's a jewel on Food Network. I though Id try out this ergo santoku.. it looked unique. I love this knife. The grip, the wide blade, sharpness and looks. It's right on point. I even bought another one for a friend. It chops, it slices, it dices and the price is righteous! This one will get a lot of use. It's nice to have a knife that not only works well but is fun to use due to its looks and ergonomics... hats off to FOODNET,GUY FIERI and ERGO CHEF... ROCK ON.. watch those pinkies...

Sharp looking sharp knife

This knife is a true pleasure to use. It looks amazing and it feels wonderful when using it. The balance is excellent. The blade is extremely sharp! I found this out the hard way, so definitely be careful. The blade sheath is an excellent way to protect the blade during storage. Both my husband and I really like these knives and I'd recommend them to anyone.

Guy Fieri Chopper

This knife as as flambouyant looking as it's namesake but is also a VERY serious piece of kitchen equipment. It is nicely balanced, feels good in the hand and is a comfort to work with. The blade is solid feeling and retains a very nice edge for longer than most in this price range.

Currently in culinary school on my way to becoming a Proffessional chef. Having the right tools along with cooking skills is one of the keys to becoming a great chef. I am enjoying my new knife and like showing it off to the other students!

Knives - a good value

I have purchased all the knives seen on Guy's television show and they are well worth the money. I was a meat cutter for many years and later a Federal Meat Inspector before retiring, so I have been around knives all my life. These knives are a very high grade quality much like the knives I used cutting meat. The handles fit your hand perfectly and makes the chopping action very smooth. The colors of the handle are a reflection of Guy's taste and very colorful to all our guests who immediately want to know where I got them. I also gave these same knives to my son for Christmas last year and he couldn't be happier.

GOOD KNIFE

THIS IS NICE BALANCED KNIFE. IT IS A LITTLE SHORTER THAN THE ONE I REPLACED SO TOOK SOME GETTING USED TO. NOT AS SHARP OUT OF THE BOX AS I LIKE SO I HAD TO SHARPEN IT. IT DOES HOLD AN EDGE WELL. I REALLY LIKE THE FEELING OF THE HANDLE.

good heavy blade.

the blade had some heft when used. blade looks great, as I use a magnetic storage system for knives this knife gets noticed often. only down side is that the blade guard does not work when you use it with a wall mount magnetic storage block.

Good knife

This knife met all of my expectations, the blade is sharp and the knife is comfortable to use. It doesn't hurt that it is eye-catching also.

Just what I have been looking for

I have been looking for about two years for a sharp knife that would cut my vegetables as finelly as possible. I have arthritis in my hands and have lost quite a bit of strength in my hands. The style of the handle allow me to hold and direct the knife where I want it. It is heavy enough to get the job done, but light enough for me to cut with it.

Best overall knife I've ever used !

I was looking for a smaller knife than the big 8 or 9 inch Chef's knives that I kept finding everywhere - this one fit the bill - I LOVE the ergonimic handle - it's angled perfectly - I also like that most of the weight of the knife is in the handle, leaving the blade lightweight and easy to move around and chop with - I've had some knives that were just the opposite, which made it very tedious to use the knife for very long - it's very sharp and comes with a nice blade protector - by the way, the Food Network had the BEST price on the Internet on this item

Great knife

This is a great knife and I've found myself hiding it to keep it safe since it's a bit wider than what my current knife holder allows. Overall, this great knife with great weight solid feel, great stile and performance. Planning on ordering the set in the near future...
