As someone new to canning, I tried this on dilly beans in hopes of having non-mushy crunchy beans. It worked like a charm. The beans turned out with a nice crunch.

it didn't seem to make a difference. I used it to make hamburger dills and they were not any crispier than without.

Pickle Crisp really works. I just added the recommended amount to the bottom of the jar and voila: crisp pickles. On the next batch I added 1/2 the recommended amount (to the top of the jar because I forgot to do it earlier) because the skins on the pickles were a little crunchier than I like, and voila: still great crisp pickles!
