If you're considering going glass for storage, this container is great. Solid & well made. Surprisingly better than the vintage glass containers from the 50's. Easy cleaning, total pleasure to use. It is on the heavy side,not lightweight as you may expect from cheap knockoffs or plastic containers. Go Glass for your health & better living. Highly recommend.

i like the container itself. there were problems however. the first delivery was damaged. it was packed so poorly that the two large containers shattered and it was a big mess with broken glass all over the box and coming out onto the counter when i opened it. you sent replacement containers that were also broken and very poorly packaged. one of them was broken and the tops of the containers themselves had kinda of deep scratches on the inside of the lids. you sent another replacement and the lid on that one was also scratched. i just didn't bother telling you again because i can use it. i would hesitate a great deal to order any glass from you again. the packaging was so bad.

I am trying to get away from storing food in plastic. I knew Anchor Hocking had a good reputation and decided to order this product and the smaller size. I love them. The glass is sturdy and the lids are heavy enough to stay on the container but not a problem to remove.

l love the simplicity of glass container, no chemicals like you get from plastic containers. They are stackable and you see whats in each container in you frig wuithout opening each. great size, very handy. Love it!!!!
