Set the perfect atmosphere at your dinner parties by using the Wusthof 5-in. Gourmet Cheese Knife to create gourmet cheese platters. This cheese knife works with both soft and hard cheeses, so you can cut everything from brie to Jarlsberg with beautiful results. An offset blade and stepped handle allow for greater control while cutting, and the latticed blade prevents cheese from sticking to it. You can slice your way through bricks, blocks and wheels with ease thanks to the 5-inch high-carbon stainless steel blade. The triple-riveted handle with a full tang allows for effortless maneuverability. We love this multifunctional cheese knife that lets you use one tool for all your cheese slicing. If you have a soft spot in your heart for cheese, this knife is a must-have piece of equipment for your kitchen. Best Used For: Use this Wusthof cheese knife to slice through cheddar or baby Swiss for salads and burgers. The knife also makes it easy to create a cheese tray to complement any wine-tasting party. Slice brie and Camembert to accompany chardonnay, Gorgonzola for port wines and rich Gouda to bring out the best in you favorite Merlot. This knife is designed to slice through all of these cheeses with precision for a beautiful presentation. Features:

  • This knife works. It doesn't stick to the cheese. I am very pleased with it.

    I recommend this product.

  • Nice knife; overpriced

Perhaps I was expecting too much of this knife; based on the reviews I read before buying I thought soft cheeses would effortlessly fall away after slicing; not so. Hard cheesed come off easily, but that's to be expected. It's not significantly better than much cheaper knives and not worth the price. At least it's beautiful and fits nicely with my other Wusthofs.

  • Better Bohemian

This is by far the best cheese knife I have ever purchased and used! I loved it so much that I had to buy a second one for my sister and her husband. This knife will cut through soft cheese without making gummy slices! We have a lot of what we call "Bohemian" suppers with a variety of cheeses and meats, and this knife is a must for great slices!

    I recommend this product.

  • Great knife!

A previous reviewer complained that it was too small, but I find it a perfect size. True, it's not as big as a chef's knife, but it's for cheese, and how big a wedge of cheese are you trying to slice?! I love the elevated handle... very practical, and the cheese really does come off more easily, although the softer cheeses of course are stickier. I love Wustof knives and this one definitely would be a good addition to your collection!

    I recommend this product.

  • Not overwhelming

This knife is OK for cutting cheese, but it still sticks to the knife and crumbles occasionally. It is a little better than a regular thin bladed knife.

  • Cheese slicing maniac.

I was a little skeptical about this knife. But it's GREAT. You can cut the thiinnest pieces of cheese.. The secret is the cheese doesn't stick to the knife.

    I recommend this product.

  • It is a SMALL knife but it does it's job well. Now I just need to make the cutting board a little smaller. Wife is very happy with the product and at the end of the day thats all that matters.
