At last I can do thin or thick tomato slices -- right down to the end of the tomato! This very specialized knife from Wusthof does exactly what it's supposed to do. And the sale price of this tomato slicer made it even more attractive.

This knife is very sharp and cleanly cuts tomatos as well as other vegetables. I normally try to use a serated bread knife to get nice tomato slices - most knives just crush and distort the tomato. This new knife did the trick.

The serated edge of this ultra-sharp knife makes it slide easily through tomatoes. The fork tip is great for moving pieces and picking up slices of tomato.

The knives are excellent

I have always wanted a good set of knives so I broke down and purchased several of the Wusthof knives. I am so pleased. They are great quality, a nice weight, handles are well made and comfortable and most of all they work really well. I have been putting up tomatoes in my freezer and this knife has gotten a work out.

Best Tomato knife ever!

This is the second Fork Tip Tomato Knife that I have bought because it is really the best tomato knife I have ever used. I got one to use on our boat and decided that I deserved to have one for home also. It really does slice through tomatoes like "butter". I can get the slices so thin that they are almost transparent. Love, love, love it!

My husband loves this knife. It cuts tomatoes as it should, but it also serves to cut other things. I like the serrated edge and reach for it to slice lemons and limes. It is also handy to cut bread. We like to give this knife to brides. It is something that few people know they need.
