The Sandwhich Spreader from Wusthof features a high-carbon stainless steel blade, hardened to maintain a sharp edge, with a full tang that provides perfect balance. The saw-like scallops of the spreader cut easily through the tough skins of tomatoes as well as bread. Its oval shape is perfect for spreading. The extremely durable, impact-resistant polypropylene handle is buffed and polished by hand, is moisture- and food acid-resistant and is virtually indestructible. The seamless fit between handle, bolster and full-tang is totally hygienic. An invaluable asset to any kitchen, the knife is made in Solingen, Germany, where each piece is hand-forged in 38 manufacturing steps by skilled craftsmen.

This spreader is worth its weight in gold....It not only spreads a good size area, the knive part is very sharp. I used this utensil everyday! I have given these as gifts.

The serrated sandwich spreader comes in handy for many uses. It is a nice size and is very sharp. I have started washing this piece by hand since I've read that is recommended for this quality of a knife.

This is the handiest little knife/spreader. It is great for making sandwiches. Spreads and cuts like a dream. It is also a great tomato slicer.
