This knife is just the right size for me, it's the first one I go to for most cutting and dicing. I really like the offset handle.

Cutting edge!

I love this knife. Returned a cheaper set that didn't agree with me (or my fingers). This knife is so sharp, but well-balanced. I use it over most of my other Henckels. Will probably get the larger one next. Although, this knife tackled the largest head of cabbage I've ever seen as well as the rest of the chopped veggies in the Moosewood Russian Borscht recipe.

I never had a santoku knife before, but I'm sure glad I do now. It really is great for a variety of tasks and it does the job quickly and easily. Another great knife from Henckels.

This knife is the best all around size.

I find that I go to this knife nearly everytime I am cooking. It is a good size, easy to handle and well balanced. I would highly recommend it for anyone's kitchen. I liked it so much, I even ordered one for my mom for Christmas!

This knife is a great size and weight for veggie food prep.

Good but not great.

I purchased this knife because of the claim that products would not stick to the knife blade. Not true. Cutting onions is the true test for me and indeed when cutting onions using this knife they stuck to the blade on the upward motion. I have other Henckels knives - one in particular, the chef's knife is a great cutting tool - heavy in your hand and superb cutting power - but vegetable products stick. Overall: The 5

Pleased with the performance of the knife. It's medium sized and recommend it as an all around general purpose knife.

What a great knife

Would only buy Henckels. They are great and a well respected knife. Extremely sharp and essy to hold. Don't hesitate. When you need knives, buy Henckels.

Love it

This knife impressed me with the light weight, very sharp edge, and design for chopping and slicing. My wife uses a cleaver for a lot of her kitchen chores, loves it, but complains about it being heavy. Bought this for her cause it is hollow and very light. It is made of the best steel and will last a lifetime.

Good knife and a good complement to my set of Henkel cutlery.

I prefer this one for slicing vegetables but my husband prefers the 7" knife. We cook together so the pair serves us well.

The knife is excellent, so very sharp! Very well-balanced. I have used it with every meal prepared. Remember to use proper kinfe procedures to avoid injury. I want the 7'' knife now!
