Larger knives are crafted using Henckels' exclusive SIGMAFORGE® standard. This knife, part of the Pro S series, is made of high-carbon stainless steel and precision-honed, with a laser-controlled edge, a balanced super-bolster, and a tang that extends to the back of the polypropylene handle, which is permanently bonded for seamless accuracy. Dishwasher-safe.

My wife saw this knife on a cooking show and just had to have it. I got it for her as a surprise and she loves it. The knife is very useful, not to mention how great it is with tomatoes. Great knife!!

I purchased this knife for a culinary school class. It cut tomatoes and other soft fruits beautifully and stayed sharp, exactly what it needed to do. An excellent tool at an excellent price, many thanks.
