Great looking, ok function

We love the look of these chopsticks, but were a little disappointed in their performance, which was ok. Still happy with the purchase though, it beats those cheap wooden ones!

I couldn't be any happier. From the grooves, for better grip on your food, to the lovely weight balance, they're a win! My kids and friends have all come to love these! We're a western family but use chopsticks for nearly half our meals. So you can imagine the wood variant doesn't hold up and plastic. well, doesn't hold up to wear and tear nicely over time either. The addition of being dishwasher safe is just the cherry on top. ^.^

SS Chopsticks

The perfect shape and size for what I am doing. Unfortunately for your review, my comments will not help. I am a glass beadmaker and use the chopsticks to hold molten glass while I twist it! I give a pair of SS chopsticks to each of my students when I teach them to twist the glass.

If you want stainless stl chopsticks, not bad

I was raised w fork knife & spn, not chopsticks. In grad school I bought some bamboo - they looked easier to clean than a fork (had no dishwasher), and I really liked using them and did so for many years. But were they sanitary? So I mentioned to a friend, whose wife is Korean, that it would be nice to find steel chopsticks & that's how I found out that Koreans used them. That got me looking and I decided to try these.

So that's where I'm coming from - I can't really say much about the finer points as I probably have always used chopsticks w a heavy Western "accent". But I love these. They are light, agile and elegant. Slippery stuff like pineapple chunks are a bit harder to grab, but the ribs around the tip help and so most things are no problem. They are made not perfectly round at the upper end so they don't roll all over the place. Not sure if the price is really great. I would have said "maybe a good value" if that choice was offered. But they are pleasant to look at & use. And sanitary.

I only rated this product a 4 because they're only chopsticks. Yes they will last you a long time, but who's going to live forever? I noticed that some prefered a different shape, but let me tell you that when you get good with a pair of sticks no matter the shape you will learn to get the food to your mouth without any problems.

Not that I'd usually get excited about chopsticks, but well... they're pretty great. My girlfriend and I use chopsticks often and prior to these, I had a couple of bamboo sets that I would simply dishwash. I'd been in the market for some stainless steel ones and was glad to have found these. They're light, long, dishwasher-friendly and priced well. Very happy.

Yucky wooden chopsticks

Our wooden chopsticks were chipping and really becoming a health hazard. I saw the stainless steel chopsticks at cooking.com and ordered 2 boxes. We love them and feel that they are more hygenic!

Everything went very smoothly and professionally.

I already have these SS chopsticks and bought a set for my daughter just because(had to get over the minimum order of $69 to get FREE shipping). Have to admit that my everyday sticks are the wooden ones...old habits still prevail as long as they're not bad ones.
