I have used it constantly since receiving the set. I love how I can use the smaller unit or the larger unit. I did a huge pot of mashed potatoes in 15 minutes in the 8 qt then the veggies in the 4 qt. in under 10 minutes. After the veggies I used the same 4 qt to prepare the gravy. The whole cooking time for Christmas was cut but at least half. I probably use the 4 qt a lot more but the 8 qt is perfect for meat soups. I really get a lot of use from them both.

Great pressure cooker set

Easy to use, the perfect sizes, good quality, and priced well.

The gasket is made of rubber instead of silicone, so it needs to be rubbed with cooking oil after washing to prolong its life.

The safety lock does not lock automatically, you have to do it manually. Its easy though--just push the safety lock on the handle.

I recommend this set and would definitely purchase a Fagor pressure cooker again.

I LOVE my pressure cookers! I had never used a modern one before ,only the one handed down to me from my Mother. This Fagor set makes the most incredible broths in such a short amount of time. I have never seen such a golden; rich color before in my broths till I used this product. I also love the smaller one for throwing rice and a bunch of veggies in, all without oils, and cooks them to perfection and with eons more flavor than a regular pan can do.

I am only rating this a 4 because I have not used a pressure cooker before and have nothing to compare it with. I have tried several different recipes and have been very pleased that it has lived up to my expectations. It was easy to use, easy to clean, and the end results were delicious!

Best pressure cooker I've ever used

I never thought I'd be so impressed with a pressure cooker, but I am! I love that I don't need to keep track of my pressure cooker weight. Love the feature to lower the pressure fast with out putting the pan under cold running water. All you do is turn the nob to steamvent and viola! Pressure is released. This pan also has a locking feature that makes it easy to get the lid on. With my ancient pan from the 1960's, it's a bit of a challenge to get the lid adjusted.

Definitely worth the money. A high quality pan set that no one should be without.

We had the pressure cooker before and due to an oversight it kind of got damaged. So needing a replacement and saw that I could get the same cooker plus additional items, I jumped at the chance. We always had very good results from the previous one so now we can use it for even more.

Why I cannot use this product

Very sorry to say that I wish I never ordered. The sets are beautiful, but so extremely heavy for me 85,yrs.! Wish I could return them as I will not be able to use them. I really would have like one small one lighter weight. Any suggestions. I did not find any return procedures in the packing - will need a ups man to come for pick up if you will email me the proper information for this sad situation!

I've been married for 40 yrs. & have always loved the pressure cooker, as did my mom for more yrs. than I can remember. I was especially taken with the two sizes in one set. Great idea.

just the right size

the option of using the smaller cooker for a single person drew me to this product. It has come in handy when the meat is still frozen and dinner is to be cooked.

Great Product

This is a good quality pressure cooker. It's pretty heavy, but it's exactly like one I had before. These are a great treasure to cook with.
