so sturdy and well made

by Kathryn, CA

Very well made cups. Not only do you get the extra 1/8 cup measure, there are markings on the inside of the one cup measure for 3/4, 1/2 and 1/4. By using those you can do various measures while dirtying one cup. These are also extremely sturdy, shiny and heavy.

Just as quality as their cookware

by Bruce, CA
December 23, 2011

The glass Pyrex measuring cup I had been using for years fell off the kitchen counter one day and onto the floor, breaking into a million pieces.

The spare plastic measuring cup I had was cracking on the bottom.

I needed something new.

I went online to Cooking.com and found 50 different replacement possibilities.

The All-Clad set stood out.

I have some All-Clad pans and skillets among my cookware and know the fine quality of the brand.

I decided that this measuring set would fit perfectly in with all of my cookware, even though most people would balk at paying 50 dollars for a measuring set when a 3 dollar single cup would do nicely.

I just wanted something a bit more special than that and something that would last a lifetime.

The build quality of this very impressive addition to any kitchen is just as perfect as the All-Clad cookware.

It looks like you could even cook in the 2 bigger measuring cups, though that certainly would not be recommended.

If you want something special; something that will last, this is it.

It's heavy; quality type heavy, excellent build and very much worth the price. I love the set and keep it together in a special place in the storage cabinet.

It would be a perfect gift for the "cook" in your life or even a nice gift for yourself.

I'll never have to buy another measuring set again. Love the "odd" measuring cups included in this set. Won't bend, very durable, easy to use.

solid, top flight

by Jeannie, CA

As others have pointed out, I could have easily picked up cheap measuring cups from Marshalls. But they wouldn't have given me the same pure satisfaction. The heft, the workmanship and of course, the lifetime guarantee - for me, the price is more than worth it.

A big surprise

by Robert, OH

My husband purchased these measuring cups for my birthday. I was shocked that he would think of getting me really nice measuring cups. He knew that I didn't like the plastic ones that I've had forever and knew from watching food network that metal were the best. I absolutely love the measuring cups and my wonderful husband too.

The quality of workmanship and materials are top notch. The design is faulty. Getting the 1/4 cup measure out of the next larger size requires twisting and some prying. The handle rivets interfere with the next cup. Very poorly thought out.. The design sacrifices function for appearance. The interior rivets of all cups should be flush rivets. Easy done in modern manufacturing. The cups would nest better and they would clean easier.

Great measuring cups -- no matching rack

by GERALD, CT
January 8, 2009

My wife asked me to procure a nice set of measuring cups on a hanging rack to put on the wall over our stove. The All-Clad set I purchased is every bit the high-quality product that was promised on your web site. These heavy duty measuring cups will still be in fine shape when our great-great-great-great grandchildren are in charge of the kitchen. The big problem was that there is no matching wall rack that I could find on either the Cooking.com or All-Clad websites. I bought an attractive and well-built unit from Cooking.com (617122 $17.95 Stainless Steel Hanging Bar with Hooks, (15-in.) only to discover, after installing it, that the hooks are too wide for any but the largest of the measuring cups. The holes in the cup handles get smaller as the size of the cups gets smaller so that only a sturdy wire hook is suitable for the entire set. After a failed web search for a new rack with sturdy, attractive wire hooks, I stumbled upon a rotating tie rack at Bed, Bath & Beyond. I cut the stainless tie hooks off with a hack saw, filed off the rough edges and fashioned them into hooks that fit the cup handles perfectly. More work than I bargained for!

The Sherman Tanks of Measuring Cups

by MICHAEL, MO
December 16, 2008

These cups are not only going to outlast me, they'll outlast my grandkids--solid and maybe just a little overbuilt. Design and finish are excellent. Think it's silly to spend $50 on a product you can purchase for $5? No problem, buy cheaper ones. Cook a lot, like real quality, and can can scrape up the cash without skipping a refil on your heart medication or not paying your credit card installment for a month? These may belong in your kitchen.

Pricey but worth it. I'm sure they will last a lifetime. Very heavy, easy to grip and accurate. They look like miniature pots. Very cute.

I love these measuring cups!

by Laura, NY
July 26, 2008

I ordered these measurnig cups because the measurements on my other measuring cups wore off. So I wanted something that would hold up. Yes, they are expensive, but I would rather buy something that will last. The measurements are etched in the handles, so they will not wear off. They are a bit heavy, so they will not tip over on the counter. And they look good, too! That's a bonus, because when I cook, I like functional items, but they have to look good, too. Even at the price, I would purchase them again.

To die for!

by Alex, TN
March 8, 2008

Are they worth $50? Not really. But they are a real pleasure to use, feel like they'll last forever and you can use them for self defense if you have to. Awesome measuring cups, get them, you won't be sorry!

December 31, 2007

I bought these measuring cups for my daughter for christmas. She is furnishing her first post college apartment and she loves to cook. I'm sure this is a product that will never need to be replaced. She loved the way they look like little all-clad pots!
