I love this pot, tho smaller than I thought and bottom is stainless clad aluminum. Will still need to buy a larger capacity, but will choose Emeril as I like the obvious quality and vented lid.

I was surprised at all the features I found in this Dutch Oven. A capacity gauge etched on the inside, two pouring spouts and two different sized holes for straining items when pouring out the cooking water. An excellent Dutch Oven choice.

WE ALREADY USED THE POT FOR CHILI AND SOUP AND IT WORKS JUST FINE FOR OUR NEEDS. I DO WISH THE OUTSIDE WOULD HAVE BEEN ALL FINISHED THE SAME I LIKE THE LESS GLOSS ON A POT. BUT I AM NOT COMPLAINING. IT COOKS GOOD AND THAT IS WHAT COUNTS.
