Great pans for an awesome sale price.

Awesome cookware for a great sale price! These were part of an anniversary gift for my husband and I. We would not have purchased them w/o the sale. My husband is the "chef" of the family, and I have learned along the way. These have made cooking SO much more enjoyable for me. They heat so evenly and the clean up is easy. Now I even LIKE to cook instead of considering it a chore. This particular pan is my favorite of the ones we bought. The sides are high enough for me to not slosh out food and the lid makes me happy.

Very simply, this saute pan is the best. The 5qt size replaced my 3qt one. I was always spilling food all over the stove while stirring in the 3qt one. Now there is plenty of room for mixing and no mess. It comes with a lid, which is always a plus for me, and the nonstick surface makes clean-up a breeze. If you are just starting a collection this pan is a must have, it's very versatile.

Very nice pan

I bought this pan after several years of trying to use stainless pots for cooking. The cooks on TV always make it look so simple, but I guess they're not using middle-of-the-road pans. Everything was sticking, and the size of the pan that came with the set was just too small for most jobs. I could only get three chicken breasts in the pan for searing and there are four people in my family. This pan is terrific. The size is large enough to fit two pounds of chicken tenders in and still have room, and nothing stuck! Oh it was so nice. I would recommend this pan to anyone that wants a good, sturdy, non-stick pan that's not too heavy, has a nice lid and handles that make it easy to use. Good value since it's Calphalon.

First time having a pan that is oven safe. Pan worked great and cleaned with ease. Large size good for cooking meals that feed an entire family.

What a BARGAIN

I've had this pan two weeks and have used it repeatedly. I can't believe what a wonderful LARGE skillet it is. I wish I'd bought it a LONG time ago and believe it or not, your price was the best of any retailer I found and I LOOKED at all of them! Thank you so much for making it so affordable. Jodi T.

5-qt.saute pan

This pan was an excelent bargin. I got one for my wife as well as my daughter in college. It was a replacement for my wife who was using one withe the finish scratched up. It is large but well balanced with the twohandles. My daughter liked it especially that she could do one pan meals for her and freinds. They both as well as i liked the glass lid(no more lifting lid to peek). For all that read this you will not find a better buy. Hurry and get yours.

Saute Pan

This is a very good saute pan. It is big enough for most anything that you would want to cook. The sides are a good height. They are very easy to clean and they are a good weight. I have enjoyed using this saute pan.

Excellent Everyday Pan

Excellent pan for everyday cooking. We cook everything from hamburgers to stir fry in this pan. Thick construction provides very even heating. The included lid is also a nice bonus. The non-stick is extremely durable and will last for years and years. A+ @ $39.95.

Love it!

The only thing I would change if I could about this pan would be to take off the rubber handle so that it can be used in the oven as well. However, I love it for my big family for one-dish meals, large saute's, lots of scrambled eggs ... It's great pan and an easy clean.

The right tool

My sister in law always told me that you needed the right tool for the job. Especially in the kitchen! She was right! When it was time to buy a new Saute Pan, I researched for the "right" tool. I read descriptions and ratings and settled on this product. I am so happy with this pan! If you follow the directions on how to use it, you will have absolutely no problems with it. No sticking, perfect cooking, a breeze to clean up! I would recommend this to everyone searching for a quality product.

This is my second pan -- not a replacement, but a second pan. It is the best I've ever owned. In the past, for about the same cost, I purchased the same size teflon pan from a club warehouse store and had to replace it every year. My original anodized pan is almost three years old and just as good as day one.

A Good, Basic Saute Pan

I like a saute pan with deep, straight, vertical sides so food stays in the pan, and 12" is the most useful to me. This pan fills the bill exactly and has a hard, non-stick surface. I can't rate it at the top (yet) because only time will tell if it is perfect. Shape and size, yes, exactly what I want. But the non-stick surface may or may not hold up to higher heats and high use. I have used it a lot since its arrival about a month ago and I like it a lot. So far so good. However, I bought this one to replace a previous same size-shape-surface pan that did not hold up over time, and that one to replace the one before, and so on. For me, they last about a year and then I have to get a new one because, despite using only soft utensils, they get worn and food starts to stick. I have bought pans from $20 to $200 and they all die eventually. So when Calphalon, which I consider to be a very good brand, put this on sale for under $40, I jumped. Even if it only lasts a year as the others did, this was a more than fair price. It has a nice-fitting, slightly domed, tempered glass lid with a comfortabe handle that stays cool over the stove . And the handle on the pan itself is also comfortable (both covered with something sort of rubberized). It is a relatively light weight pan, its handle well balanced to the pan size, and it holds a little or a lot. The bottom is flat and not distorted as with some I have had (like when you pour some oil in and it all puddles on the edges -- that doesn't happen with his pan). I don't think this is an in-the-oven pan, though, because of the rubbery material on the handles. I expect it is dishwasher safe but I always wash my pans carefully by hand.

Works for us

This pan works well for searing large amounts of meat and vegetables the depth is more than ample. The price was too good to be true :~]

5qt Hard Anodized Saute Pan

Wish I could afford to buy the version that's made in Toledo instead of China, but for the difference in price, it's hard to pass it up.
The pan is great though... coming from a novice. Makes cooking more fun to have good equipment.

This is the best pan I ever bought. I needed one this size and am very pleased with it. I just wish my sink was bigger so it would be easier to wash.

Great Cookware

I've always wanted Calphalon cook ware and this one is a joy. I would recommend it to everyone.

Great everyday pan!

This is an excellent pan! I purchased it to replace one of lesser quality. The sale price was excellent - I have not been able to find a lower price anywhere, and I look often to make sure I really got a good deal. This pan heats up quickly and evenly, is easy to handle and cleans up quickly. I reach for this pan almost everytime I'm in the kitchen.

Great Price for Calphalon

My old saute pan just wore out. Stuff was sticking & burning.
Boy the first batch of pan cakes I made came out just perfect. I had been looking for a replacement pan for about 6 mos. but did not want to spend $100.
Found this one with a cover and it is perfect.

Greatest Pan Ever

I ordered this set because I have needed a bigger pan to do recipies in. I must tell you that it is the best!!! It is not only easy to clean but also the best non stick pan to cook in. I enjoy cooking tremendously and it really helps to have cookware that makes it more enjoyable. Someday when I become a chef I will be using these pans along with others that I have already ordered in the past from the food network. I would say to others that if you really enjoy cooking and don't want to have much of a clean up, then get this product for it is worth it.
