Wonderful pan

This is a great pan. When it heats up it stays evenly heated. Love it! I had a 12" fryer and still use it, but I like that is one is flatter and able to cook for all of us at once.

cooking with Calphalon

Calphalon products are great. I've cooked most of my life but mostly with inferior cook ware. I never realized just how inferior until I was introduced to Calphalon a few years ago by my daughter in law. I have nothing but praise for Calphalon. I am disabled so shopping on line is helpful. The product always meets my expectations.

5-qt Saute Pan

I like this pan for several of my dishes. It sautes very well. I use it for quick dishes like chicken marsala, veal scallopini. Also for sauteing fresh vegetables. Unfortunately, this is the third time I am replacing the pot. I prefer the covered handle because it is easier to handle the pot while cooking and does not get hot. The past handles cracked exposing a hot surface. This new one seems improved. I love the pot enough to keep replacing it.

Nice, deep pan, lid is just OK

Pan is medium weight but heats well, maybe due to the large footprint the burner has. The lid is a cheaper version than our other Calphalon lids. Still a welcome addition to our cookware.

Perfect size

This pan is the perfect size. So many times food went over the edge when stirring. This is soooo great, love it.

Fits a lot of needs

Higher sides allows you to saute without as much slopping and splattering.

Have wanted a skillet like this for some time. It was worth the wait! Nice and heavy, deep. Perfect for frying and will hold a whole chicken. Great pan, would recommend without reservation!

I am totally satisfied with this pan. It is deep, heats evenly and nice and wide. The non-stick is very good also.

The extra handle helps in moving the skillet from one area to another.

This pan is great for simple skillet meals or whenever I need a larger pan.

Size, shape and quality.

I began using this pot as soon as it was out of the box and it's been a cooking staple ever since. The size, shape and quality met all expectations.

Good Product

I only used it once so far. But it worked well, easy to clean, and is big enough to handle a double batch of spaghetti sauce.
