    Good size. 1 Caution

Perfect size for my family - good for every day use. My only complaint is the handles. I've burned myself every single time because the coating doesn't cover the entire handle and I inevitably touch the hot metal when emptying the pot.

This pot is relatively light, easy to handle and very simple to clean. The heat is distributed evenly which lends it's use to many cooking applications. The glass lid makes it very easy to view the status of what is being cooked and best of all, it's made in the USA !!!

Great value in a perfect-sized pan!

This pan is perfect for what I wanted to use it for: sautéing and making soups, stews and chili. The straight sides are nice and high to keep ingredients and splatters in. The lid fits nice and tight when I need it to. The handles are siliconized metal, so they don't overheat or slip. They are much better than having long frying-pan handles that just get in the way. This pan goes from stove-top to oven, no problem. The non-stick surface is a plus for sautéing. My only complaint is the gauge of the metal - not as thick as I'd like, but it doesn't seem to affect the pot's ability to slowly simmer. Has worked like a champ for the last couple of months. All-in-all, I'm very happy with the purchase!

    Good pot for price but...

The pan is a good size but I would have preferred it to be slightly taller rather than as wide as it is. That is probably personal preference so probably 50% of the users prefer in short and wide. But my only true complaint is the handles were hot when I went to pick up the pan and I needed potholders to prevent burning my hands. The material used to cover the handles should be more substantial.
