I mistakenly thought the flex edge was an attachment for my beater blade. I own the larger pro model and it is too small for the 6 qt. bowl. I would love to have one for the pro model.

Great new product

This was a wonderful idea. I wish it was available for the fixed stand mixer which I own.

Should come standard

I do a lot of Baking and this is the next best thing to windshield wipers. This is the paddle that should ship standard with the mixer. Does a fantastic job at combining the ingredients and cleaning the sides and bottom of the bowl.

Best Beater Ever

Once my original beater attachment started to chip, I was very excited to see the replacement option included this one with the flex edge. No more stopping the mixer and getting a rubber spatula to scrap down the sides. Terrific time saver and well worth the money!

I would of loved it but is was to small for my mixer.

Can't live without it!!

Now that I finally broke down and purchased the Flex Edge Beater I don't know how I got along without it. This item saves so much time. I used to have to stop and scrap the bowl with a spatula on the sides and bottom so as to make sure everything was really mixed in. The Flex Edge Beater does a great job of mixing everything and leaves nothing missed on sides or bottom of the bowl.

Good idea

I like it as far as scraping the bottom. But in my Artisan mixer, it doesn't completely scrape the sides. It does perform better than the regular beater.

Great product

This is a great product. I do a lot of baking and cake decorating. It really does a geat job. I still have a little bit of ingredients in the very bottom of the mixer bowl which is why I did not rate it a 5. But it does scrape the sides completely.

It works

If your bowl is not adjusted perfectly with your mixer, this helps a lot. In rereading my mixer manual, I discovered that I can adjust how the bowl rest on the stand. This helped too.

A helpful product

This is a helpful, thoughtful product; you don't have to keep stopping to scrape down the bowl when you're preparing a cake. That's a time saver! And it really blends the cake well. I need to run it a little longer, though, to get the desired results. Overall, I can't complain--it was a good purchase.

LOVE this beater!

Up until now, I had the original beater for the Kitchen Aide mixer. The blade had "peeled" a little on the bottom edge, and I was a little afraid to use it! The new flex edge beater is wonderful!! It keeps the sides of the bowl continuously clean and seems to mix the ingredients more quickly! Sure makes the clean-up easier, too!

The flex edge beater is a great tool. It ensures that all the ingrediets are incorporated, including that dry stuff on the bottom you usually discover much too late. Really, it ia efficient and saves time. You may still have to stop the mixer to scrape dough from atop the beater but not often and only if the bowl is very full.

Good, but not great

I bought this to replace a Beater Blade with the rubber on both sides. That one was starting to crack because of so much use. I loved it and used it for all mixing. This one is nice, but I find that the rubber being only on one side is not as effective at scraping the bowl. I will be buying another with the spayula on both sides, and us this as my spare.

Love all there products. This saves you the time of scraping down the bowl while the product is being beaten.

Improvement to great product

Hard to believe the mixer can get better but this simple improvement is fabulous.

Works great!

Works just as described, mixed everything in without having to stop, tilt and scrape. Came out of dishwasher fine. And since it's metal, I expect it will last and last. Really glad I got it.
