Scissors Cut Great, But Too Small

These scissors are really good concerning cutting. I have cut numerous items that some of my previous kitchen scissors would not attempt to cut. However, there is one negative that I wish someone would have wrote in on a review. That being that they are very small. For cutting small items they work fine however, for larger items like large boneless chicken breasts or large pieces of ham they take way too long. A good example would be comparing cutting a long strip of package wrapping paper with a kindergarten child's approved kid size scissors verses cutting with adult size scissors. Yes, both will cut great, but the adult size scissors will get the job done in half the amount of time as the kid size scissors. When I am cooking I do not like wasting time, so I would have preferred longer blades

Hello, the scissors are as advertised. The are light, sharp and useful. Remember that the blade is not that long. They work great and I would highly reccommend to have around in the kithen when you need a pair to cut almost anything.

Best Kitchen scissors

A neighbor, who owned a kitchen shop, said these were the best scissors. We bought one, then another since I also wanted a pari for the garden. We decided to be pratical this year and bought several for Christmas presents. They were well received.

Great Scissors

My daughter threw her kitchen scissors in the trash by accident. She uses them all the time and really missed them. I told her not to buy anymore and sent her these. She said that they are much nicer than her other pair and she loves them. She said she is happy her other pair never showed up.

The Best Household Scissors

This is my third pair of Joyce Chen scissors. I just keep losing them. I've tried other kitchen scissors and they don't even come close to the quality of the red-handled scissors. They are very easy to use, they cut even tough cardboard. I think that's why I lose them. I use them for cutting almost everything and everywhere.

I bought my first two pair locally, but that place of business is no longer open. So I went on line to cooking.com. There they were right on the first page.

I have 2 pairs of these scissors for many years and I haven't found any to compare with these. They can be used for EVERYTHING.

The BEST Scissors Ever

I've been using these scissors for 20 years. They were recommended by a classmate and first bought them for cufting sheet metal (jewelry making). I then bought a pair for the kitchen. I LOVE THEM. THEY CUT EVERYTHING. From chicken bones to flower stems. This year I gave the scissors as holiday gifts. I comments - The best holiday gift ever. Something practical, fabulous and not on my radar. Best kitchen/gardner scissors ever!

My aunt bought me a pair of these at least 10 years ago, I used them several times a day, somehow lost them over Thanksgiving, I felt like I was lost without them in the kitchen, thrilled to find them on-line. I ordered two pair, one for me and one to give to a friend, she loves them too. Great tool to have in kitchen and int he garden.
