This is the first I have tried flaming foods and I sure picked the right tool for the job! I made a lemon pie and browned the meringue and it was wonderful.My mashed potato's also were a hit,after I piped them through a star tip then torched the tips, they looked to good to eat one guest said.

My first torch of this model worked, but was very difficult to ignite. It was necessary to push the igniter button repeatedly to get it to start. I returned it and reordered this same model torch. The replacement starts reliably, and the flame is highly adjustable. It is pricey, but I think the quality warrants the price.
