the product was purchased 50% off and so I think the price was fine. full price it would have been too expensive for what one gets. The packaging is nice but the instructions are very limited. My husband is a chef and so he was able to instruct me how to use the brine. best to dissolve in a little how water first them add cold water. Immerse meat and then weight down so it stays submerged. Use in the refrigerator. rinse or not as preferred when out of the brine. it imparted tenderness and flavor whick was very nice.
