The delicious Danish dessert known as Aebleskiver are easy to make, but they need a special pan for cooking. The Aebleskiver Pan is a superior version, traditionally constructed of durable cast iron. Serve these wonderful dough balls, which resemble doughnut holes, with jam or applesauce, or dusted with powdered sugar. Yum!

Please note: This item is not recommended for ceramic/glass top stoves.

  • MOST HELPFUL REVIEWS

  • I LOVE this aebleskiver pan! I almost bought the fancy non-stick version for a lot more money, then decided to give this a try. My kids and I use it at least once a week, often more. All you need is a good basic recipe and the patience to let it heat slowly and completely before dropping in the batter. And it really is non-stick. Great product!

  • Not for flat top stoves

The cast iron will scratch your glass-top stove so I tried it in the oven. It works better around 500 degrees. You can even try corn bread but season the pan and use butter to keep it from sticking.

    I recommend this product.

  • I have made Aebleskivers for years and with this pan they turned out better than I've ever had them before. I like the small size and yet gives exactly the same amount of aebelskivers as the larger ones. It was perfect.

    I recommend this product.

  • Aebleskivers!!

I was searching online to find one of these pans , and stumbled upon your website. I could not find one of these anywhere out here in Oregon, and it didn't seem like there were tons of them online either.
Being primarily of Danish heritage, I had hoped on making some of these little jewels for my family. So when I found your website, I breathlessly with fingers crossed ordered one, hoping that it would be decent. Wow was I surprised when I received my pan a few days later. For about half the price of pans at other places, I now have a pan that I feel is superior. It is cast iron and not cheap aluminum, which means that it heats up more evenly, and also will not scratch like a teflon coated pan. Another advantage is that it is more compact then many other designs I have seen making it easier to store in less space! I believe I have stumbled on to a great product and a great value, and I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in trying Aebleskivers out.

  • Move over Pancake Puffs

The price of this product is well worth it. The competition's product cost almost twice as much on TV. The 6.75-in. Aebleskiver Pan by SCI/Scandicrafts, Inc. is well made of quality cast iron. I have no doubts that I will be using this product for years to come!

    I recommend this product.

  • The Best

We wanted to have a special, fun Mother's day breakfast. These pancakes were fun, easy and tasty. The pan is great! The pan is well made and heats evenly and is easy to maintain. The only problem with the pan is that it is a little small for the burners. You must place the pan exactly on the burners or it will slide off to the side. The price makes it worth the little extra time to make sure the pan is place on the center of the burner. Great deal for the price! Great deal for the fun! Great deal for the taste!

    I recommend this product.

  • This pan works really well, our kids love the little pancake puffs. Took a few tries to get the temp. correct so they didn't get too done on outside before inside cooked. Overall quite pleased with the purchase.

  • aebleskiver pan

I saw a Rachel Ray show where she was showing one of these types of pans not this brand and was quite interesed in it. so I went shopping on line and found that your site had the best price for product and shipping. My friend and I both got one, so we split the shipping. I used mine Super Bowl Sunday and it was a hit. It is time consuming but I love this kind of stuff and enjoy making interesting and different things.

  • pretty good overall

i really like this pan but as with all cast iron cookware, the upkeep can be a little bit of a pain. i wish there was a heat resistant handle with it as ive burned my hand a couple times cause im so used to having heat resistant handles. otherwise, it cooks nicely.

    I recommend this product.

  • Great Pan

I am just trying to learn how to do new things for breakfast and have seen pans simular to this for $35.00 or more. I wanted to try with cast iron since that is how the pancakes were originally cooked. Have not yet used it but I like the look.
