I LOVE this aebleskiver pan! I almost bought the fancy non-stick version for a lot more money, then decided to give this a try. My kids and I use it at least once a week, often more. All you need is a good basic recipe and the patience to let it heat slowly and completely before dropping in the batter. And it really is non-stick. Great product!

Not for flat top stoves

The cast iron will scratch your glass-top stove so I tried it in the oven. It works better around 500 degrees. You can even try corn bread but season the pan and use butter to keep it from sticking.

I have made Aebleskivers for years and with this pan they turned out better than I've ever had them before. I like the small size and yet gives exactly the same amount of aebelskivers as the larger ones. It was perfect.

The pan is fun to use. Makes small rounds pancakes with fillings, like flat donuts.
I seasoned the pan first and the pancakes didn't stick.
The pan came with odd drip marks that looked like varnish, in several of the depressions. No amount of scrubbing would take it off.

The Best

We wanted to have a special, fun Mother's day breakfast. These pancakes were fun, easy and tasty. The pan is great! The pan is well made and heats evenly and is easy to maintain. The only problem with the pan is that it is a little small for the burners. You must place the pan exactly on the burners or it will slide off to the side. The price makes it worth the little extra time to make sure the pan is place on the center of the burner. Great deal for the price! Great deal for the fun! Great deal for the taste!

This pan works well for muffins, donuts, pancakes, hushpuppies, meatballs etc. It does take a little time to get the hang of flipping the batter without making a mess.

I saw a Rachel Ray show where she was showing one of these types of pans not this brand and was quite interesed in it. so I went shopping on line and found that your site had the best price for product and shipping. My friend and I both got one, so we split the shipping. I used mine Super Bowl Sunday and it was a hit. It is time consuming but I love this kind of stuff and enjoy making interesting and different things.

This pan works really well, our kids love the little pancake puffs. Took a few tries to get the temp. correct so they didn't get too done on outside before inside cooked. Overall quite pleased with the purchase.

The price of this product is well worth it. The competition's product cost almost twice as much on TV. The 6.75-in. Aebleskiver Pan by SCI/Scandicrafts, Inc. is well made of quality cast iron. I have no doubts that I will be using this product for years to come!

i really like this pan but as with all cast iron cookware, the upkeep can be a little bit of a pain. i wish there was a heat resistant handle with it as ive burned my hand a couple times cause im so used to having heat resistant handles. otherwise, it cooks nicely.

I wish this would have come with a recipe or two. That way I could have made them right away when I got the Pan. It would have been a perfect gift to also give with a recipe. I did get a recipe and it does work great. Thanks.

This was a gift for my daughter-in-law - and she absolutely loves it - I asked her for a wish list and this was on it, so you buy what they WANT and it is always a win/win situation

This was fun to use you need to get use to how long to let the cook. Had a great time with the kids. Good to use on the week end when you have time to play around with it.
