This is the first time in twenty-two years our mango tree provided mangoes and they're magnificent. Didn't even know there was such a tool as a mango splitter until I ordered other items and this was a pop-up. It works just as intended. Is sharp, quick, and easy to use. Four stars!

I saw this gadget on American Test Kitchen or wouldn't have bought it believing there's no way it'd work. No matter the size, it works! Just remember to cut a slice off the bottom so you can sit it on a flat surface. AND, no flesh is wasted!

The splitter works fine for normal size mangos but not so well for the small sizes sometimes found. Otherwise it is a valuable addition to our kitchen.

Mango slicer doesn't cut it

I was really disappointed in this product. You have to apply quite a but of pressure in order to slice a mango and when you apply that much pressure you end up with mashed mango on your cutting board. I still use my knife and would not recommend this product. It doesn't live up to its claims.

THANK GOODNESS FOR THIS KITCHEN TOOL. WITH MY ARTHRITIC HANDS I CAN NOW ENJOY THE FRUIT OF MY LABOR WITHOUT IT BEING PAINFUL. THIS PRODUCT GETS MORE THAN IT'S MONIES WORTH OF USE.

I love this gadget! I never have been able to cut and peel a mango without a drippy mess. This tool makes is so easy. Glad I bought it!

The cutter just smashed the mango. It only cut half way down. We only tried one so we will try it again. We did cut the end of the mango off so it would stand up but this did not seem to help.

i have looked at all our stores out here in texas heb's and no one had them.it's a little hard to use but i will get the hang of it as i practice more, cause i love mangos. another thing i now don't have to get all messie. i love my mago cutter.

Slicing mangos is so easy!

A friend told me to buy this slicer for mangos and it will make my life so much easier. They were right. In fact, this makes splitting the mango so easy my 12 year old nephew insisted he split the mango for our smoothy!

Great product! Works terrific with very little waste of the mango

This is a great idea, and works perfectly on larger mangoes, but for the little champagne mangoes it nearly clears each side without cutting (the opening is that large).

Otherwise, like everything OXO makes, it's solid, well-made, nicely designed.

After reading the reviews, I was a little leary about buying the mango splitter. But there were more favorable reviews then not, so I did. I was very happy with the product. It cut exactly as it should and was so easy!! Very glad I bought it.

This product works really well as long as the mango is still firm. If the mango is over ripe the blade sticks half way through. Still a very nifty product for a mango lover like myself! No more sticky messes trying to manhandle the mango!
