The corrugated surface on the pan allows heat to circulate under your baked goods and creates exceptional browning. A nonstick silicone coating makes the need for greasing or parchment paper completely unnecessary. Aluminized steel bakeware is made from sheets of cold rolled steel that have been dipped and coated on both sides with an aluminum-silicon alloy. Americoat silicone coating is environmentally friendly and does not contain PTFEs or PFOAs. The process is more expensive than cold rolled steel but provides an exceptional level of rust protection that will last for years. Simply wipe clean with a towel or hand wash. Washing in the dishwasher is not recommended as the harsh chemicals can cause breakdown in the nonstick coating.

I purchased this pan to make mini two two layer cakes - works great. also made great shaped yeast buns.
