I needed this cookie press to fill eclairs with a very light custard. The plunger's seating within the tube is not water-tight, so it was a big mess (custard coming out of the back end at the handle.)

I wrapped the plunger with teflon tabe used for PVC pipe fittings, about five wrappings, and it now works perfectly, even if I wanted to inject water into something. The company might wish to improve the seal of the plunger with the addition of some type of gasket. Thank You.

So happy I found this cookie press! This has a huge range of shapes, including nozzles for piping. And, it can go in the dishwasher! Very pleased with this.

So-so

I was very excited about this purchase before I used it. The decorating accessories are wonderful, but the cookie making is difficult. I read the direction over and over again trying to figure out what I was doing wrong. Apparently my dough wasn't chilled enough. It worked half the time I used it. I eventually got so frustrated that I gave up and I haven't used it to make cookies since. The decorating tips are great tho.

COOKIE PRESS EASE

After trying two other cookie presses that were difficult and time consuming to use, I went searching on the web for an alternative and came across the Kuhn Rikon press. I've used it one time so far, but am very impressed by the no hassles operation and look forward to using it many times in the future. Being a cookie baker, I really appreciate having a press that I can make jam filled and other type of butter cookies with, and expand the variety of my cookie baking.

I have owned one of these cookie presses for several years, and it finally broke. I was given a Pampered Chef Cookie Press (expensive and very nice), but it did not come with the star tip so that I could make my favorite cheese straws. I ordered another one from you, and I am very satisfied with it.
