Steel of fork could be more refined and a little longer handle

I bought it because of the name on it and not the value. Forks are available for one fourth of the cost and are just as good or better but they dont have the Wusthof name on the product and all of my stuff is Clasic Wusthof.

Fork was not very substantial

The gourmet line seems to be a cheap version for this company and looks like fork was stamped out. I did not like the looks and was concerned about bending when carving and therefore returned this and purchased a more substantial one from a competitor.

Kitchen Fork

Works very well, could be just a little bigger.

Planned future use.

Saw Alton Brown using it. I bought this for my wife for Valentines Day. Will use later, but she likes it.
