Immediately after receiving the beautiful jars, I discovered the same set was $4.00 cheaper at ACE Hardware store. And I wouldn't have had to pay for shipping either.

I discovered I could have purchased the same blue Ball jars locally (6-pc set) for $8.95. So with shipping my order came to more than twice that amount. I had looked for them at a couple of stores but was not able to find them. I decided to order them because I didn't think I would find them. Then shortly after my order came, I discovered them in two different stores locally. They are still sitting in the box as I haven't been well enough to use them.

I think the Pint Jars are alittle high

I like these blue pint jars. they are every bit as good as the clear ones & they are like the old style except for the up to date features. Just alittle high.

Quality and Value

by Donald, CA
August 4, 2013

The pale blue jars are very visually attractive and although they may not be the best match for certain food colors are a great addition to the product lineup. Value for the price is a bit subjective since they ended up costing much more from the on-line store than once local stores started to carry the product.

Blue pint jars

July 31, 2013

I have blue quart jars so couldn't resist the offer of the pint jars. I love how they look in my open kitchen cabinets. One warning: Food looks kind of funky inside blue! The tomatoes look purple! LOL. Still. I'm glad to have and use them.

We really like these jars. Love the color. Crazy good price. Saw same jars on another website for $84.00. Great for canning or using for drinking since they do not break easily.

Unfortunately they didn't get the blue right . It's a weird shade of blue...kind of icy blue. Not happy with these.

I Like The Blue.

I would like these better if they cost a bit less. I would like the wide-mouth jar shape better. I like the blue color, that is why I bought these.

Beautiful empty - not so much filled!

by Lani Fawcett, CA
July 25, 2013

I don't regret my purchase, but when I made three jars of apricot jam (1 clear jar, 2 blue jars)I first thought that two of my jars of jam had not turned out right! My second thought was correct - the blue glass made my jaw appear darker, but in reality, all three jars turned out great!

Love the anniversary blue jars. They are absolutely gorgeous! I gave a few away to friends and I ordered a set for my sister. I think the price is a little high, but still would recommend them. They are so beautiful!!

July 24, 2013

I am satisfied with the jars and glad to have them. However, I found the same item at my local grocer for almost half the price that I paid online. Very disappointing!

I ordered these based on their color. I plan to process milk, and thought they would look great on the shelves.
