Birthday Gift

I bought the item for my son-in-law for his birthday. He likes to cook and bake and pretends he is one of the chefs from the foodnetwork. He was really please with the product and for Christmas I may have to buy him another so everyone will have a creme brulee when he makes them. Just wish they came in a bigger set besides of 4. He rates this product to be on the top because he did not have to look for a dish to bake them in for the water bath. I am answering the questions how my son-in-law would answer them.

I love these they make it so much easier to do custards and things and not having to deal with hot water and getting the ramkins out is the best

Big Success....

We offered creme brulee as a desert option at Thanksgiving having pre-tested the recipe twice before. The custards come out perfectly every time. The pan and rack really take the concern out of making a perfect desert. As a special treat, we let the kids watch the caramelizing of the sugar before serving.

Does the job well and keeps all the needed pieces together. I wish it were bigger (a six to eight serving size.)

This product makes it easy to transfer the hot ramekins from the water bath to the refrigerator without spilling.
