I purchased this item to replace my old steamer. What a difference. This one is great and cleans up nicely.

Steaming creates the best best food we have ever eaten. I use two steamers to handle the different steaming time, etc. rice versus fish.
Even use it for hamburgers on this July 4th holiday weekend. .. DM

Just got it and used it once to steam king crab legs. Worked fine. Wish there were more steaming recipes/guidance, and would have liked the ability to include steaming spices.

I have given this steamer to my daughter, son, and niece. They all love it and use it frequently. I probably should get one for myself.

I love the steamer. Very easy to use. The food comes out perfect. I have played with several recipes and it works on them all.

Does not start steaming in 30 seconds, water bubbles out of reservoir and it takes longer to steam than using a pan. Wish I could return it!

The Oster steamer is great! This is the second one that I have bought. I steam fresh vegetables throughout the week to have for dinner. Steaming seems much better than boiling because it seems to lock in tthe freshness and flavor of the vegetables.
I love the fact that the Oster steamer is bi-level so you can steam two different things at the same time. I also love that it automatically keeps reheating for an hour after the cooking is done. This way if you are having company and they are late, your food stays hot and delicious without getting overdone.

Wonderful Gift, Great Must Have

I have 2 Oster Steamers, a small one and the large one.
The large one has been used every holiday when the family gathers and often just to do crab legs.

The smaller one for everyday cooking, without it and a microwave we'd starve.

I highly recommend Oster Steamers for their quality and abilitiy to deliver perfectly with each use. My large steamer is 4 or 5 years old and looks and works like new.

I ordered this steamer for a wedding gift and the couple receiving it were delighted.

A great steamer for the money

This steamer replaced a smaller one that finally died after many years of faithful service. The Oster is very similar in operation, but larger. I love the double deck steaming option.

This steamer is really easy to use and I love how I can add another layer of food partway through cooking so that everything gets done at the same time.
