Electric Pressure Cooker

I have used regular pressure cookers since I was a teen helping out at home. They are fantastic. I had another brand of the electric type which worked wonderfully until the non-stick coating started to peel. I tossed that one and looked for one that I would not have that problem with and now I feel I found it.
This is a great item and is easy to use for someone just learning about pressure cookers. It is a

Great Product!

I use the pressure cooker 3 to 4 times a week. I have prepared BBQ, pot roast, stews, mexican dishes, and variety of soups. The controls are great. It browns, saute and simmer as you would expect it to. I do love the idea of only using one pan. No need for extra pans. Our family has a busy schedule so this is perfect for me. Very easy to clean. No problem with steam or safety issues. Worth the money. Best Cusinart product that I have used. Meats does come out tender. I no longer use the crockpot.

THIS IS AN EXCELLENT PRESSURE COOKER IT'S A REPLACEMENT FOR MY COOKS ESSENTIALS ( BAD INSERTS AND NEVER GOT SUPPORT ) . AND SO FAR IT PERFORMS JUST LIKE I WOULD WANT IT TO . I LOVE THE STAY WARM FEATURE . WHAT MORE CAN I SAY I LOVE PRESSURE COOKING AND THE CUISINART HAS BEEN TREATING ME WELL .

Love the product. It makes it easy to eat healthy foods like legumes without the long cooking times. It works great as a rice cooker also.

I love this Pressure Cooker! I was a little nervous about using it - being new to pressure cooking. This cooker is easy to use, cook's wonderfully - especially dried beans! The versatility of browning, cooking and keeping warm all in one pot is great. Easy to clean too!
I highly recommend this product.

6-qt Pressure Cooker by Cuisinart

I bought this product for myself about 8 or 9 months ago. I loved it so much that I ordered this one for my daughter. I have used pressure cookers for the last 40 years but never had even heard of an electric pressure cooker. When I saw this one, I just had to try it. I have cooked everything from dry beans to lemon cheesecake in mine. It is my favorite appliance. I just love it and highly recommend it to anyone who likes to cook and has not a whole lot of time.

Cuisinat Electric Pressure Cooker

I have been pressure cooking for over 30 years and this is the first time I have used a electric pressure cooker. I was impressed with the browning mode, then cooked my meat, went back to the browning mode and made the gravy and then keep warm mode. It cooked like a dream, it was as set it and forget it. I would recommend this to everyone.

Great product, but . . .

My only complaint with this product is that it does not reach the full 15# pressure which is really the standard. That means that all recipes must be converted. Speaking of recipes, those that come with the product, though excellent, are somewhat gourmand. A smattering of ordinary would be a good idea. That said, we love the product and use it several times a week. It is easy to use and does the job well.

I can't believe I lived without it!

Amazing. I am cautious about jumping into new things but this is one that I am extremely thrilled with.
4 lbs. of pork roast, 1/2 bottle of bbq sauce, and 1 cup of water. No trimming, no browning, no fiddling. I throw it in the unit and cook for 1 hr, let it vent by itself for 1 hr and I have the most tender shredded bbq pork I have ever had. Restaurant quality all the way. And easy!
Same thing with beef, just different ingredients and cook time.
You will not regret this purchase!

pressure cooker

When this pressure cooker arrived it had the little condensation catcher missing. I called Cuisanart and they promply sent a replacement. The unit has several options including a keep warm setting. When I set the time I wanted to cook it went straight to the warming cycle. I never reached the 15 LBS pressure I needed. All I could do was heat slightly and warm. I ruined two dinners with this. Cooking.com offered to replace it, but I was afraid I would get another lemon. If you can get one that works, I think it would be an execellant product.

So nice for an older busy cook

We are taking care of my 89 year old mother and having appliances that turn off is a great advantage.
I have owned a pressure cooker for years and stopped using it because of the constant monitoring involved. This Cuisinart model is simple to set and gives excellent results while I'm not even in the room.
Love the freedom and love the pressure cooker.

I have used pressure cookers for many years but this is the easiest and safest one I have ever used. I have used it four times this week and everything has been perfect, even a cheese cake. It was perfect!.I love it and would recommend it to everyone.

Cuisinart Pressure Cooker

I've used the pressure cooker once. It was simple to operate and performed good. The only problem I had was I was cooking a pot of pinto beans and wanted to put my ham bone in with the beans and there was not enough room. Beside that, everything else work great.
