All you have to do is load the 6 -quart cooker with all of your ingredients, lock the lid in place and begin cooking. The bonded aluminum diffuser base ensures even heat distribution and fuel efficiency. This pressure cooker works fine. Cooks great. I wish it had come with a basket. I guess you have to order that separately.

I bought this pressure cooker because I didn't want to buy a rice cooker. Single use gadgets annoy me. This pressure cooker, well I imagine any pressure cooker, makes really good rice... and a bunch of other yummy things as well.

I love baby back ribs and this is a GREAT and quick way . I also made my own chicken stock in a very short time , and it was great . I have recomended to several of my friends .

I have used several types of pressure cookers -- this is by far the safest, easiest to use and overall the best one I have ever used. I highly recommend it for both the new cook and the cook, like me, who has been at it for a while.
