Identify the ingredients of every canning jar in your cupboard by tagging them during the canning process with the help of this Ball 60-pc. Dissolvable Labels set. These labels are super-sticky, so they adhere easily to your jars, allowing you to identify the ingredients of each jar with ease. You can also include the date that the food was canned, which will help you to keep track of the best date of use is for each batch of canned food you preserve. The labels can be easily written on, and each label has a large blank field, so you can include as much information as you see fit. When applying the labels, each of them can be repositioned for up to thirty seconds during the application process, so you get the label centered and applied to suit your taste. These labels are designed to last for a long, long time, but when you're ready to remove them, the process is easy. Just wash the jar and watch the label dissolve away, whether you hand wash or stick it in the dishwasher. As an added bonus, the box that the labels are packaged in doubles as a handy dispenser, so you can make quick work of labeling your freshly canned foods.
Designed to be attached securely to your home canning jars during use and storage so that you can easily identify the ingredients of every jar
Dissolves in host water, so removal is simple and hassle free
Being a Home canner and jelly/jam maker for decades now, I have used a LOT of labels, both permanent and "removable" that don't live up up their names. There are the only ones that stay on and then rinse off when wet instead off coming our of the dishwasher with the ink gone and the label even more securely affixed!
I find that the labels do not release correctly and parts of the labels stick and tear, which make me write another lable. I have already used 1 box of labels for only 44 jars and am upsset with the quality.
These are great! My husband makes wine and wants to reuse most of the bottles. These labels are perfect! I have an herb garden and make several kinds of infused oils. Again, perfect for all special bottles that I will give as gifts. The labels are a good size and are easily washed off after the jars or bottles are empty. This is the label that I will "stick with!"
I have been canning for forty years. In the past, to get labels, as jars are re-usable,
you had to purchase more jars to get one sheet of labels. With the dissolvable labels,
at least you can identify what you have canned. I do prefer the sheet labels with
the fruit pictures extending out of the basket. These were not available, but would
have purchased them instead.
I actually use the labels identify the different smoothies that I blend and freeze. They work as described. I do suggest that the company make a label dispenser. A dispenser would be a very useful addition.
Must say that these labels were just what I wanted. I have herbs from the garden that I dry and pack in little 40z jars. Needed labels and these fit perfect. Plus I was surprised to know that these labels fit ALL the jars. Yeah!
The labels did not stick. I did read reviews online from other people who had similar complaints. This product does work better if you write on the label and then put it in the refrigerator for a day and then peel and stick quickly before it warms up. What a pain. Not what I expected.
These labels will not stick. I think the gum on the back has transferred to the paper backing strip and that is very sticky. Moistening the labels doesn't help (I tried that) because the labels then fell apart!
I called to complain and was told I would receive a replacement packet of labels, but have't received them yet. When (if?) I do receive them, I hope they'll work, because I like the idea. I may revise my opionion of this product if the new labels can be used as intended.
