  • MOST HELPFUL REVIEWS

  • I received the Waring Food Slicer as a wished for Christmas gift and I'm very happy with the results of slicing roast beef and ham. I have yet to slice my homemade breads and also cheeses and vegetables -but I'm sure it will perform just as well as with the meats. Clean up is easy so I do recommend this machine to any home cook.

    I recommend this product.

  • This is a terrific food slicer and very easy to use. Slices meats and bulk cheese easily and uniformly. The only thing negative I would say is that it is somewhat tedious to clean. Most of the parts don't come off, so cleaning becomes a time consuming process. Other than that, I recommend this product heartily.

  • Waring 7.5 in. Food Slicer

I have found this product harder to use than I anticipated from other reviews I read on the website. The meat tends to stick to the blade making it hard to get a consistent cut.

  • avoiding the deli

After shocking prices at the deli counter these days my husband and I thought we’d try buying in bulk and slicing things like meats, cheese and breads ourselves. Also ensuring exactly how the meat is prepared and knowing it would be all organic, free range, natural ingredients. With this new slicer we should be saving a bundle. For a small price we were able to purchase a small piece of meat, cook it and slice it up in about an hour. We'll have enough sandwich meat for the whole month at half the price of deli meat at the counter. We are very please with the slicer. It's so easy to use we just love it. The only negatives about this machine are that it would have been a lot easier to clean if the parts were detachable and it was a little lighter. For the amount of things this machine will do and the anticipated savings this is a defenant keeper. WE LOVE IT!!

    I recommend this product.

  • Our church purchased this slicer for use in the kitchen. It arrived the day before a large Christmas dinner given for our seniors. The machine handled the pork roast wonderfully and will be using it for many other occasions throughout the year. Thanks for your quick shipping service.

  • Present for hubby

My husband really loves thinly sliced meats and cheeses - well just about anything! So, he requested this slicer for Christmas. It is the right balance between functionality and price. Now that he's tried it out, he is quite pleased with it - he sliced pepperoni so thin you could almost read through it! And you just plug it in and its ready to go. Couldn't be easier.

  • Waring's Professional Food Slicer

I bought this for my husband for Christmas. He was thrilled at the quality, the power and the options. He had one before (not this brand), but he could not make thick slices. This one he said he is able to make slices up a an inch thick. He was impressed at the quality for the price I paid for it. I will be looking at this compny when it comes time for me to supplement my cookware. Thank you!

  • My slicer is the best gift I have bought myself. I was very surprised at how sharp it was and how it sliced with such ease. My rehersal dinner for my son's wedding serving beef on a bun was a success. Thanks.

  • Ok, I will tell you what I think. These items are very expensive, but this one is a good unit for the money. You see I have a 6'4" tall 15 year old boy that can eat the southbound end out of northbound mule. He can inhale $10 of deli cut meats in one sitting. So I cut my costs by purchasing this unit and now buy the mule. Works great, nice slow cut, cleans up well, have cut, ham, roast, brisket and cheese. Thanks, Dad

  • Purchased this for my husband who loves working in the kitchen. He used this for the 1st time to slice up some venison to make jerky for his ski trip. He said it saved him about 1/2 hour and was able to have uniformly thin sliced meat which is important when using a dehydrator to dry the meat. He loves it and is recommeding it to the person who he gets the venison from. We plan to use it for lunchmeats and cheeses as well as breads.
He said it's the best Christmas present ever.
