This Can Opener is no exception. The cutting edge works its way around cans without touching the contents, and it leaves a cut edge that is blunt and smooth for safety. The cut at the side allows you to lift lids easily and it cuts in such a way that you can reuse lids temporarily. A handsome ring on the end lets you hang and display it on your Rosle Rail System. A better, heavier, more well thought-out tool you'll be hard-pressed to find.

I bought this can opener because I thought Rosle items were made in Germany and of high quality. This opener is made in China. If I had wanted that, I would have gone to Walmart.

Yes, it's spendy---get over it. Skip the instructions and just look at the thing. Its use is intuitive---hold it to the lip of the can with the ring along the rim and turn the handle. It seems to grab on and after a few turns, give your wrist a twist and watch the lid come away from the can. Now, give the handle a reverse twist and the lid falls free. Give the opener a rinse, though it's probably perfectly clean, and you're done. Next task . . .

I love this manual can opener! It was a little pricy, but if I don't have to keep buying cheap can openers because they all rust out or quit working right, I'll be happy. Thank you for such a great product!

Yes | No Report Violation »I had a stroke 8 years ago and use of my left hand is very limited, so I had to have the help of someone else to try to open a can. The great plus with this particular can opener is the way the edges of the can were dulled to prevent sharp edges which is why it was extremely difficult to try to pierce the top of the can to get it to open up the lid. Pricey, but very functional.
