This Can Opener is no exception. The cutting edge works its way around cans without touching the contents, and it leaves a cut edge that is blunt and smooth for safety. The cut at the side allows you to lift lids easily and it cuts in such a way that you can reuse lids temporarily. A handsome ring on the end lets you hang and display it on your Rosle Rail System. A better, heavier, more well thought-out tool you'll be hard-pressed to find.

Worth the money
This is a good opener. My husband threw the instructions away, and I forgot how to use it... once I figured it out... it is great. Does what they say it will do... easy to turn, clean operation and leaves the cans without a sharp edge.

I never thought I would like one of these new can openers. But then my son gave me one for my birthday now I wonder how I ever got on without it. This is the best can opener I have ever used.

This opener effortlessly cuts into the can just under the lid leaving a smooth edge. Worth every penny for safety, ease and cleanliness.

very easy to operate, a little pricey for a can opener

Yes | No Report Violation »i live in mobile, alabama. we lose power quite often due to weather events,ie hurricane katrina. i have never used an electric can opener and probably never will. the last 2 manual can openers were very disappointing to myself and my husband. neither one of them lasted very long. i honestly believe this can opener will be the last one i will have to buy for a very long time. it is very easy to turn the handle and since it cuts on the side of the top, when the can is opened it does not make a splash as the lid falls into the can! this is a much more sanitary way to open a can also. anything i have ever purchased from the food network store had always been of good quality and worth every penny spent.

After getting my knuckles sliced by the sharp edges on a can opened by a traditional can opener, I had to find a better opener. The Rosle opener is perfect- the video about the Rosle is accurate... no sharp edges and the lid does not fall into the can.

This is the second Rosele can opener that I have owned. It is also the best that I ever owned. The reason for this purchase was that the first one that I owned (about six years ago) was completely worn out to the nub.
It is the best can opener on the market...
Love it!
Absolutely love this can opener. The only problem was the weekend I was away and came home to find my old, tucked-away can opener on the counter, dug out by my husband because he didn't have the patience to figure out how to use the new design. My only complaint about this can opener is when opening cans of tuna, peas, etc., where I would usually use the top of the can to squeeze out the excess liquid from the canned goods. This new style of can opener doesn't allow this.

Very Nice Can Opener - One thing I would have liked to have seen is that it were made of all 18-10 SS instead of plactic - Time will tell - Overall excellent quality for the price

A German-made product that does what it is supposed to, easily. Well made but a bit over-priced, I think!

This is the most expensive can opener we've ever purchased, and it is also the best. From now on, this is the only we we will use and it is the one we will give for gifts. We gave one to my folks who are seniors, and we feel better knowing they can use this to safely open cans, no more rough edges for them to get cut on. Also very safe for children to use. We are extremely pleased with the Rosle can opener.

I would highly recommend this can opener to anyone. I know the price is high, but it is worth every penny. I am so happy that I purchased this item & would do so all over again. It turns smoothly & leaves a smooth edge (no chance of cutting yourself on the can).

I don't have to worry about sharp lids.

Without a doubt, the best can opener design that I have ever used. Very well built. Feels like a well made shop tool in your hand. Never gets contaminated by the can contents as the device never comes in contact with the interior of the can. If Apple sold can openers, this is the one they would sell

It took a few minutes to get it working, but once it did I was glad that I made the purchase. It was rather expensive, but in the end, worth every penny. I was thrilled that I didn't have to worry about sharp edges. The top of the can did not fit back on the can well after opening. Overall, I am very satisfied.
