This Can Opener is no exception. The cutting edge works its way around cans without touching the contents, and it leaves a cut edge that is blunt and smooth for safety. The cut at the side allows you to lift lids easily and it cuts in such a way that you can reuse lids temporarily. A handsome ring on the end lets you hang and display it on your Rosle Rail System. A better, heavier, more well thought-out tool you'll be hard-pressed to find.

I bought this can opener because I thought Rosle items were made in Germany and of high quality. This opener is made in China. If I had wanted that, I would have gone to Walmart.

Yes, it's spendy---get over it. Skip the instructions and just look at the thing. Its use is intuitive---hold it to the lip of the can with the ring along the rim and turn the handle. It seems to grab on and after a few turns, give your wrist a twist and watch the lid come away from the can. Now, give the handle a reverse twist and the lid falls free. Give the opener a rinse, though it's probably perfectly clean, and you're done. Next task . . .

I love this manual can opener! It was a little pricy, but if I don't have to keep buying cheap can openers because they all rust out or quit working right, I'll be happy. Thank you for such a great product!

Yes | No Report Violation »I had a stroke 8 years ago and use of my left hand is very limited, so I had to have the help of someone else to try to open a can. The great plus with this particular can opener is the way the edges of the can were dulled to prevent sharp edges which is why it was extremely difficult to try to pierce the top of the can to get it to open up the lid. Pricey, but very functional.

Get this for its ingenious design and you'll find it also works perfectly. Cuts off the top so neatly you can still use it as a temporary cover. To release, just twist the handle the other way by a degree.

I have to say when you think about spending $35 on a can opener you can't help but wonder if it's worth it. I have this can opener and love it. I was tired of spatulas getting cut on cans or of having the dirty lids fall in the food. This solves both of those problems. I loved it so much I bought my sister one as a gift. Without a doubt, it is worth the money.

I was looking around for a can opener like this one that opens cans without sharp edges. This is definitely the the most durable and compact one to get. It may seem a little pricey, but I can see that it will last for years to come, unlike some that looked like I'd have to buy a new one every couple of years. I love how it is so compact in your drawer. I basically buy this as a house-warming gift for all my friends now. The gift that lasts! :)

I love this can opener! It is simple to use and you don't have sharp edges on the can cutting into spatulas or yourself. It doesn't touch the contents of the can so it is very clean and does not contaminate the contents of the can. Highly recommend.

This can opener has been designed very well. It fits into a drawer easily. It works great. No more sharp lids and no more lids falling into the food. That's the best part. You can open cans without the mess. The can opener turns very easily, but if your opening a lot of cans at once your hand can get a little tired. Perfect for home use.

This can opener works GREAT!!! Thanks...ACE
5 of 9 users found this helpful. Was it helpful to you? Yes | No Report Violation »I found this can opener very clumsy to use. It doesn't grab onto the lip quickly--so you can't be in a hurry to open the can. I have to play with it, turning the handle, before it grabs onto the lip.

this opener is both sleek and erganomic to use, having a magical quality as it opens the can.
as many others who rev'd this item said, 'you can barely tell if it's working at all' and yet seems to do a better job than any old clunker.
also, very attractive tool in the kitchen, which may appeal more to women than men..
Hope that it lasts for many years.
Rosle can opener
I've had a Rosle can opener for 2-3 years, & love it. It works well, & is small enough to not clutter up the utensil drawer. It took some time to figure out how to use it, however, as the directions weren't very good. Perhaps the instructions have improved now. I bought one of these for my son since I like it so well.

This is the best can opener I have ever owned. It is so smooth to operate, and the top doesn't fall in the can. Hope it lasts forever. I have already recommended it to friends.

When I first used it, it was hard to believe that it was actually working because it was cutting so clean. No more mess with opening cans! The tool is nice and compact as well, but you can feel that it has real substance the way its built. I have the feeling this will be the last can opener I will have to buy for a very long time. Worth every penny.

My decision to purchase this product was based soley on the reviews that I read as I really wasn't impressed with how it looked in the picture and I really wanted another electric can opener. Well, I love it. It is so easy to use and removes the top of the can so effortlessly that its hard to know whether it is working. This product far surpasses any can opener I have ever used. I plan to purchase one for my sister.

Easier to use
This is much easier to use than my old regular can opener (especially with my carpal tunnel syndrome in my wrists ) and there are no sharp edges on the can or lid. The lid can be alittle dificult to remove from the can opener at times but this is not a big problem. My family all like it too and no one had a problem figuring out how to use it. Would definitely recommend it.

I never thought I'd spend this much money on a can opener. As I was making dinner on Easter, my grocery store can opener broke. It was never very good to begin with. It would never sink the blade into the can. You had to force it, but it was all I had. My husband had to run to the grocery store to buy another one. So I decided it's time to get a really good manual can opener. At first I balked at the price but it had pretty good reviews so I got it. When my husband saw it he said,
