The Wusthof 7-in. Classic Santoku Knife delivers exceptional quality, making it an essential component of any well-equipped kitchen. This Japanese knife is traditionally used for slicing fish and seafood for sushi and sashimi. Thanks to its precisely angled blade, it's capable of making paper-thin slices of virtually any ingredient.   • Great Xmas Gift

    My son is a professional cook and chose this knife as a gift he wanted for Xmas. There were a few much more expensive knives he really liked but knows in his business theft is a possibility and was very happy to compromise with a lower priced but still very high quality knife. He really likes the balance and the feel of the traditional style handle

  • Hollow Edge Santoku Knife

    Cuts easily through vegetables and meat with little to no effort. Somehow I didn't think it was going to be so long (with handle). I am trying to get used to it (the size). Also very light weight.

  • My first but not last Santoku

    I ordered this knife mainly so I could try it. First, I like Wusthof knives better than any other German made knife. I was surprised at the light weight of the blade. This wasn't a plus for me because I would have liked a heavier blade for better balance. Nevertheless, this is a useful addition to the knives I use daily.
