Almost perfect

This apple slicer does exactly what its supposed to do . The only tiny problem is that the corer part of it is a bit too small to encircle some larger apple cores. It leaves some of the seed covers in the apple slices, which have to be taken out after slicing.

Best thing since sliced apples!!!

This Apple Divider is great! I eat apples all the time and hated trying to maneuver a knife all around the core to get all the fruit out. NO PROBLEM W/ THE OXO APPLE DIVIDER!!!! Cuts apple in perfect little pieces every time and is very easy on the hands!!

Indispensible Kitchen Gadget

Great for slicing apples for a snack, peeled apples for pies & desserts, or a caramel apple for the kids-they don't have to fight over who gets the bigger piece, they're all the same size. If you don't have one, they're a great addition to your kitchen. This one is easy to use and the handles are situated at a good level.

Fast and Easy

I was a bit reluctant to purchase another Apple slicer. My previous one was a huge disappointment – it was difficult to use and mangled any apple or pear I used it on. So when I first used the Apple Divider by Oxo on a ripe pear – the result was perfect. My kids and I have always been in the habit of cutting our apples and pears – this slicer is quick and easy to use, and I don’t need to use a paring knife to finish any cutting or trimming as I had to before.

I think everyone should have a Apple Divider. It's a great!!
