An update from Wusthof, their Grand Prix II line is now better than ever. This new line of cutlery features an improved ergonomic, contoured handle that is slimmer so it's more comfortable to hold. The pebble-grained surface is slip-free, an improved safety feature you'll really notice, especially when hands are wet or greasy. An improved full tang improves balance and heft as you cut, slice and dice. More precise manufacturing measures have been taken to improve the fit of the handle to the bolster to help extend the life of your knife. A new no-stain, high-carbon steel alloy blade has an improved edge that stays sharper, longer so there's less need for frequent honing.

I have an entire set of Cutco knives, however, the Santoku knife was not part of the set. I absolutely love this Santoku knife better than any knife i own. I use this knife for everything, and I rarely use my Cutco knives. They say food doesn't stick to the knife, however, I find that not true. Even though food sticks, it doesn't matter because this knife outshines any knife I have ever owned.
