If you've ever made a roast, casserole, soup or other savory dish that calls for lots of garlic, you'll love this jumbo press. Place multiple cloves in at one time, without peeling, and press the plunger down to get fresh garlic pieces and juice. The design allows maximum results, and holds the peels inside so you just remove and rinse when done. The unique, ergonomic handle allows better leverage and easier squeezing for satisfying results. Makes a great add-on gift with food baskets or pasta machines.

  • Cook's Illustrated rated this press as a Best Value. As I have broken more garlic presses than I care to count, I am hoping that this one lives up to its recommendation. So far, so good. Also like the tool for cleaning out the holes... and the fact that it snaps into the handle so I don't lose it.

    I recommend this product.

  • good product if you're strong

This press definitely works and you don't have to peel the garlic first. But, it is very difficult to actually press. I have to hold it against the counter and push. So I don't recommend it if you have arthritis or you can't bench 75 pounds!

    I recommend this product.

  • Needed a new garlic press and bought this one due to the America's Test Kitchen recommendation; it has met expectations (it actually works and doesn't feel like its going to fall apart if you squeeze too hard).

    I recommend this product.

  • Works well; a little hard to crush several cloves at once. Longer handles would fix this.
A tip on using the"blue" hole cleaner. Insert the cleaner, then LEAVE IT IN and wash. If you pull it out before washing, the garlic tends to get pulled back in the holes. All in all; a great garlic press.

    I recommend this product.

  • I was hoping that it would be easier to squeeze than it is. It does a very good job of pressing the garlic...just isn't real easy. It is nice not to have to peel the garlic cloves. It is also easy to clean...the cleaning tool works very well.

    I recommend this product.

  • Wow! It works consistently. I just started using it, but it can take a great deal of pressure. It presses garlic with the skin still on, awesome. Oh my god! save me some time in the kitchen! also works great with ginger. Don't know how I'll go back to chopping and crushing with the chef's knife although guests love the theatrics.

    I recommend this product.

  • It's awesome! I've never had a garlic press that had this kind of muscle and I don't have to manhandle it to perform. It presses out more - read all - of the meat of the garlic, leaving the skin behind. Very easy to clean with a well thought out storage for the hole cleaner tool that fits into the inside of the handle.

    I recommend this product.

  • Cooks Illustrated rates this garlic press as the best. I thought I had a good garlic press until I got this one. The handles are long which creates more leverage to really crush the garlic in the large hopper. Whether you press one clove of garlic or several it gets the job done quickly. This garlic press is easy to clean thanks in part to the detachable cleaner. I haven't chopped one clove of garlic since purchasing this garlic press.

    I recommend this product.

  • At first glance, it appears this garlic press is the same as all the others until you put in the first clove of garlic. One press and you know you have something special in you hand. You don't have to peel the garlic which is a big timesaver, and after one press, the garlic is completly removed from the clove, leaving just the skin. Fit and finish are excellent.

  • Minces garlic beautifully. Also, the press feels well constructed and sturdy.

However, this model requires a firm hand and strong grip. I have small hands and sometimes must either get assistance from my husband when pressing large cloves or cut the cloves into smaller pieces. The included press cleaner is awkward and cumbersome; definitely more trouble than it is worth.

  • This is the first and ONLY garlic press that actually worked for me. I had a drawer full of other brands and didn't get the same results as I did with this one. It minced both small and large cloves of garlic with ease.

  • This is the most difficult garlic press I have ever used. I'm not particularly weak and have no problem using my other Zyliss garlic press. With this new press I could not squeeze the garlic through the press, peeled or not. Neither could my Husband. If I hadn't thrown my wrapping away I would be returning it.

  • Two good things about this press is that it completely pulverizes the clove. There is barely anything left at all. The other nice feature is the cleaning tool which has its own attachment site as can be seen in the photo. The drawback is that I don't seem to have the grip strength required to operate this garlic press and have had to ask my husband to do it.

    I recommend this product.

  • A great product that lives up to everything said about it! Feels substantial in your hand and does an excellent job mincing garlic. I've used it several times since purchasing and it's always produced great results. Love that the small cleaner and brush can be kept in the press itself. Very convenient and you don't have to worry about losing it.
