Add maximum garlic flavor to your favorite dishes with the help of this Zyliss 7-in. Nonstick Jumbo Aluminum Garlic Press. This garlic press is made from durable aluminum alloy for lasting use, even in kitchens where garlic is a favorite ingredient, and it has a nonstick-finished hopper, so garlic releases efficiently after pressing and there's less mess left behind. Whether you're making garlic hummus, garlic and basil pesto or garlic chicken adobo, this press has tiny holes that turn out finely pressed garlic. The holes also release the maximum amount of oil from each clove for more intense flavor and the right texture for blending into dressings, sauces and soups. Its extra-large hopper holds more than one clove at a time without the need to peel the garlic first, so you can quickly power through meal prep, and its ergonomically shaped handle is easy to grip and comfortable to squeeze and dishwasher safe, minimizing your time in the kitchen. Features:
  • Jumbo size makes it easy to press multiple cloves at once

  • Cook's Illustrated rated this press as a Best Value. As I have broken more garlic presses than I care to count, I am hoping that this one lives up to its recommendation. So far, so good. Also like the tool for cleaning out the holes... and the fact that it snaps into the handle so I don't lose it.

    I recommend this product.

  • Needed a new garlic press and bought this one due to the America's Test Kitchen recommendation; it has met expectations (it actually works and doesn't feel like its going to fall apart if you squeeze too hard).

  • I have a list of all items recommended by Cook's Illustrated/America's Test Kitchen. When I see them, I buy them when I can. I like not having to mince my garlic anymore and this gadget does the trick. I do find I have to squeeze a bit harder to get the garlic all the way through the holes, but the press works great regardless.

    I recommend this product.

  • Best Garlic Press Ever!

This was a replacement--somehow I managed to lose my original one, and I refuse to use any other. I have used several different kinds (many were more expensive), but have never found one that works better!

  • Easy to use

Great value and easy to use. I would however still suggest removing the outer layer of the garlic first before pressing it. I did find that it was too difficult for me to press the garlic with the outer peel still on it so I removed it and it did it quite easily then.

    I recommend this product.

  • Very Pleased

This press works very well, does not require the muscle that so many of the older presses require. Cleans easily and the included cleaning tool is great. Very pleased with the purchase. Like that it doesn't come from China.

  • Garlic Press Broke

I was very excited to get this garlic press as I have seen it on Sam The Cooking Guy. However, I was disappointed when it broke the first time it was used. Simply pressing a glove of garlic the press broke.

  • Absolutely the best!

I have used many garlic presses over the years, and this one outshines them all! There is very little (if any) waste, and the cleanup is a breeze. Just recently bought my second one and had to buy one for my best friend, as well!

  • The Best Garlic Press!

I have had many garlic presses in my time, and this is, by far, the best I have ever had. You can stick 2 garlic cloves in there. Easy to clean, one piece only, and goes thru garlic like a hot knife thru butter. Be sure to smash the garlic 1st to easily remove skin. The rest is a breeze.

  • Zyliss Garlic Press

I finally broke down and bought the Zyliss garlic press (based off of the product reviews). It does what it supposed to do, and it does it well. Need a bit of muscle to press, but definitely worth it. Really like this product.

Super easy to use, even with my arthritis. One squeeze, and only the skin is left in the press. Worth the $$.

  • superior product

I bought this product because it was highly rated by Cooks Illustrated magazine. And I love it because of the ease of use. No tedious peeling of the cloves is necessary. All you do is put clobes in the press, skin and all, and press. The garlic is sqeezed out, and the empty skins remain in the press! Just remove and toss out. I no longer mince garlic. I just reach for my Zyliss press - so much faster and the results are the same. I liked the product so much I gave them as Christmas gifts, and the recipients also loved it.

    I recommend this product.

  • Not that great

Seems like pretty good quality, but just didn't like the way it came out. It says you can leave peel on, but this prevents the garlic from pressing out efficiently and effectively. Might be better to peel first then press. Quality could be a little better.

  • Rated the best (last year).

America's Test Kitchen rated this the best the last time they looked at the Garlic press. The newly top rated press was out of stock (everywhere), so I bought this. I honestly cannot see how another press could be better. Quick, handles large pieces, COMPLETELY presses with none of the useless

  • Zyliss Garlic Press

I orderded these as gifts because I won one myself and think it is a great product. My one beef is that these were previously made in Switzerland but are now made in China. Even more annoying is that Cooking.com still lists it as made in Switzerland. I was very annoyed when I received them and had it not been for the issue of time and need to have the gift when I needed it, I would have sent them back. I felt mislead.

    I recommend this product.

  • BUY THIS ONE! Throw out the rest.

I have multiple garlic presses including the original Zyliss garlic press. I am blessed with a mother who grows elephant garlic just for us kids since we cook so much; I tend to take the lion's share I think. I have been buying garlic presses trying to find one that can handle those monster cloves and that wont strain my wrist and fingers to badly. I usually call my husband to press the garlic. Now with this new one I have been able to press my own cloves of garlic again! I also love that the cleaner is tucked away right in the press so it doesn't get lost like the one to my original zyliss press did. Can't think of any improvements.
