Love the poacher!!

This is a very superior quality egg poacher. The eggs just slide out very nicely - even when I forgot to butter them. Would highly recommend this product.

This is a great product; very easy to use. Makes perfect eggs in no time! Make sure to spray the cups with some cooking spray prior to use.

multi-functional and sturdy

This egg poacher is very well-made and easy to clean. I use it as a sauce pan by taking the inserts out and it's a perfect size to make soup for two. Demeyere tends to be fairly pricey but this one is very reasonable and the quality is excellent.

Quality Egg poacher

I tried several of the lower cost poachers only to find that the eggs stick leaving the cups very difficult to clean. This poacher actually lives up to its stated stick free function. Well worth the price. I only wish I had bought this one first.

Exactly what I wanted

This poacher is heavy duty and well worth the money. I like the see thru lid and my eggs turned out perfect the first time used. A little PAM and they did not stick!

Like others, I initially thought this poaching pan a bit expensive; however after using it several times and getting some of the best poached eggs I have ever had, cooked to perfection, I think it well worth the price.

Nonstick claim is bogus

The product is generally well-made and easy to use until it comes time to get the eggs out of the cups. They are non-stick only in the manufacturer's imagination. They look like a non-stick coating, but I had to use a plastic scrubby to get the remnants off. So do, indeed, treat it as an ordinary cup needing oiling or greasing.

The egg poacher seems to be a very good one. I will start with the negative impressions first. The handle does seem to receive considerable transfer heat into it. So use a pot holder. But other than that, after having the poacher about a week, and having used it about 3-4 times, I would say that we are very happy with it at this point. It heats and boils water very quickly, and is easy to slide the cups into place when ready. The cover being partially glass allows you to see the cooking taking place, allowing a safe view of the eggs. The eggs pop right out of the cups, and cleanup has been a breeze. Is worth the money spent for a specialized piece of cooking equipment that may not be used every day. But works so well, and easily that it may get used more often now.

Of the many egg poachers I've tried, this is definitely the most superior. Exceptional quality. Worth every penny. The non stick surface works as advertised. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who loves poached eggs.

Quick and Easy

Excellent quality Egg Poacher with a very nice heavy pan.

Non-Stick really means melt a little butter first or use a bit of non-stick spray if you want the egg to just slide out. It's no big deal and it beats having shake the egg out the one time I forgot. As far as getting the eggs done the way you like them. It will just take a bit of trial and error (I'm at about 5 min 20 seconds at my altitude) but as long as you use a timer the results are more repeatable than anything else I have used. Easy, quick and very minimal clean up. It was a nice surprise to get a excellent quality item that has ended up being used several times a week.

Everything we hoped for and more

This is a quality product that gets the job done and is easy to clean. We do spray the cups lightly with non-stick cooking spray and have experienced no problems with sliding out the eggs.

Excellent product! I have at least eight egg poachers that I now consider a waste of money. This is a super high quality product. I cannot beleive how great it poaches eggs. Clean up is a snap. This will be the last egg poacher you will buy!
