Once you've used All Clad, there is no going back. I purchased the 7pc set at the amazing sale price for Christmas. I wanted the saute pan for my kitchen, and the others will become Christmas gifts for my newlywed daughters! Everyone deserves quality cookware!

I gave this as a gift to my daughter for Christmas and we used it that day to make dinner. It is wonderful cookware. Very impressed!!!

After getting tired of pots and pans with round bottoms I looked for some time for a set of pots that would both last and cook well. Not wanting to spend a fortune, I settle on the smallest set All-Clad makes. After several weeks of lots of cooking (for both adults and a two year old with a voracious appetite) these pots and pans are a pleasure to use. They distribute heat evenly and as long as you get them up to temperature before you start cooking food won't stick and are easy to clean. I love them. Is a great set for some one that cooks for one or two people. I see buying a couple of additional pieces to round out the set and have a bit more capacity. You must have a larger pan, the small 8" inch is not big enough for anything other than a small omelet.

Not dishwasher safe, and that was not clear in the description. It said dishwasher not recommended, but the pans became ugly with black streaks the first time they were washed. Many things are OK in the dishwasher despite a disclaimer saying that dishwasher use is not recommended. These pans were not OK after one washing.

This All-Clad set is a perfect starting point for equipping a kitchen. These are pots and pans that will stand the test of time, use ~ and perhaps even abuse, but let's not go there. The construction leads to even heat and therefore better control. Be sure to get a can of Barkeeper's Friend, which makes cleaning these a cinch. This is a great set for the graduate or newlyweds, but really anyone wanting to get serious about quality and performance in the kitchen.
