good but not great

I thought that they were going to be stainless steel but, they're not. They are coated. They are nice and thick and I like the stand. If they were stainless, they would be perfect.

Makes making k-bobs so easy. Be careful where you leave the ends though, it can be hard to turn them with clumsy hotpads after the ends get hot. I learned it was much easier to put the ends in a position where they do not get too hot to handle.

Set of 7 Kabob and Skewer Set by Weber

This was my second try at making Kabobs. The first was with loose skewer on the grill, and well lets just say it was less than fruitfull. Not a good experience.
My second attempt with the Set of 7 Kabob and Skewer Set by Weber. Was a night and day difference. No burning, no sticking just perfectly suspended meat and veg over the grill grates. Getting brown and carlemized to perfection. So Yes! I'm glad i bought it! Clean-up was easy. Some of blackening of the support frame, but that is to be expected. As long as the skewers clean-up I'm not worried. And it breaks down for storage, which is good because it fits into my kitchens grilln tools drawer.
One thing though; a comment for Weber. Five of the six skewers are the same length, one is about a half inch shorter. Come on Weber your better than that. Watch the quality.

A black residue comes off the skewers even after they have been washed.
