Great Pot For Making Chili

I have made a few batches of chili so far and this pot is great. Nothing sticks and it heats very even. I cook the ground turkey right in the pot drain the juices and add onions, green peppers and cook until opaque. Then add all the other ingredients and simmer for a couple hours in the same pot. I have made soup a few time with the same results. Very happy with my purchase. This is by far the best all around pot I have ever bought. The price is very reasonable for a pot that can do everything I need. I have not tried it in the oven yet.

I wear out my soup pans. This is the perfect ice and is gorgeous. Expect to use it for some time.

Best pot ever!

This is the second I purchase. Was very pleased with the first and needed a new pot to replace an old one. They look great, and work non-stick as expected.

I have not used this pot as yet seems very nice but not as heavy as I thought it would be and found that it was Aluminum & that wasn't stated when I bought it on your site. I frequently cook with tomatoes and was't sure I could do that with this pot. Found out I could, guess because it is non-stick there would not be a problem.

Best Dutch Oven

I had the 5 quart and loved it, so I got the 7 quart so I would have the luxury of both sizes for smaller or larger recipes. So easy to clean and have never had anything stick. Wonderful products.

Have not had a chance to use it yet but everything I have in this brand has preformed beautifully.

I prepared a brisket using this product yesterday, first searing all sides; then adding a variety of veggies and liquid to bottom of pan; then laying brisket onto the veggies; and then finishing at low temp. in the oven. Everything was perfectly cooked and delicious. Clean-up was easy as usual with your products. I'm really enjoying using the new pots and pans and thank you the opportunity to review. One problem experienced: a 1 qt. pan purchased some time ago and used quite often was also used for Thanksgiving dinner. Something boiled over that apparently caused streaking on the outside of the pan. I don't know how to correct that. Any suggestions? Thanks again.

Great for pot roast and soup

Holds alot

Used it right away, love the pot because I don't have to worry about over flow. The handles you have to be careful because the black protection does not go flush to the pot and is not as thick as in other pots,so be mindful when holding. I would not put it in the dishwasher, cause some soaps can whiten the outside finish, It takes one minute to wash by hand and easy so save the dish washer for the plate. Cooked nice and even, Made a bean soup with it. I have 3 sets of pots and pans, but not one this big for when I make soups and chili's. Love it, would recommend it to all cooks. I do cook every day,and take care of my pans, Keep the bubble wrap that comes with the pans and cut and use them for inside and bottom of pans when you store them inside each other, this will protect your pots and does not cost you anything.

In the short time I have been using this dutch oven , it has become one of my favorite pieces and not just for 'dutch oven ' applications . Really a wonderful , versatile pot . Well worth the money to make the cook happy !

I love this nonstick dutch oven as it works well with my gas range.

About 4 months ago I purchased my first calphalon item---a 10 inch Everything pan and fell in love with the convinence and service. When the Dutch Oven went on sale I could hardly wait for the order to arrive. My husband also likes to cook with these products. I am looking forward to replacing all my cookware with calphalon.
